Yes it will, If your upping your budget then i'd opt for a nice 2003 /2004 Blob STI, especially if your new to scoobs.

Dealt with Maks before, genuine bloke... As for the choice of the car bug/blob sti would be a perfect modding base , type r would be a better drivers car , but i'm sure for your budget you'll have to chuck in a bit more to make it prone to abuse....

My personal experience after 2 classics i had, both were tracked, and now with jdm bug sti i lost that little paranoia i had , "whats gonna brake this time?" After a proper trash.. I'd choose a jdm car over uk in any shape thought as well... specially if going for a blob... 7.5k will get you a twin scroll car.

My dads 2005 blob wrx has just gone up for sales it's mint and I'd bet he'd take what your asking for.

I put it in classifieds today. Has the updated dash etc.

A well modified high power car won't need any more maintenance than any other impreza. Regular oil and filters using quality parts is the main thing.

thats what i was hoping to here, i dont mind normal maintenace like regular oil changes, general checks etc but ive never owned a 380 bhp tuned car before and dont want to start having billls after bills etc but i do realise it is impossible to say because its all down to luck at the end of the day
