As for being banned, I think you'll just have to accept it unfortunately.

In all honesty, dont sweat it, if your genuine and well known, people wil be in touch via PM,

You do get a few site owners who get a bit god like when someone dares to challange there percievied turf so to speak.

Just had another look, my ban is until April 2016!!! You'd think I'd killed someone.

I agree that their may be some sort of monetary agreement between certain mods and certain garages. Shame as the people are spot on. Am giving TTS a go and may be tempted to set my own forum, might have it up and running by the time my ban is up.

 

i think TTS have been trying to organise one recently with Evotune. Thats the thing though, one club seems to prefer them whereas another club prefers Motoscope and which one is the best? there's only one way to find out....... Lol

 

Its all part of being a member of a car forum,to organise meets/events,seems like one of them wants to show that they are the all mighty and powerful by going for the BAN,sound like a right bunch of *****.

I got disciplined some time ago on the vrs forum over something silly,because i posted a picture of a cake,and said nom nom nom cake car,and the ******** deleted the post.

Hey OP, I've been banned from a few forums. Join under a new username and troll. Admins love this as it gives them a sense of power when they spot you and ban again. I've been banned off Pistonheads three times now.

I've not read all of the replays but if admin was to ban you for this thread I would laugh my head off.

Seems abit stupid that admin have to arrange all rolling roads etched. What about group buys? Maybe a seller will only deal with someone he knows and not a stranger all for the sake of a club name. I would tell all your buddies to leave there and come here. We have readers wives, and tubby tommy

Me neither. They are a right bunch if bullies over there. I think I was one of the few brown guys that stood up for themselves but then I would take it too far. I have been banned off two Islamic forums too. One for racism and the other for supporting lesbianism.

 

 

My opinion is to forget about it as it's only an online forum. Who cares? Or am I missing the point?

 

The main thing was it seemed like a good relaxed local forum which was ideal for trading and meets. Turns out the admin treat it more like a nursery. What of the admin even stated he felt he had a duty of care to the members by not wanting them to go to a certain RR session as he thought it wasn't a suitable company. Think I'd be better of with Kim Jong Un! !!

 

If the members are daft enough to listen and take advice from those pissed on power, let them get on with it.

Micky_wrx is a sound bastärd and if he suggests TTS, it'll be a nice place to hang out.

 

 

I suggest that every scoobynet member joins NESF and posts the same suggestion that the OP did. Should keep them busy for a while and should also let them know that they are naught but a speck of dust in the enormous scheme of things. At least scoobynet gives you the courtesy of a warning (and I've had a few).
