Saw him at the emirates the other week, stood out as the most dangerous, predatory, gifted, and single minded player on the pitch

Great player

If the terminator played football........

Spurs fan utterly ruined by that result. No fight, no spine and no caution against a team scoring for fun. Fair play, knew you'd be ones to watch this year after your performances against us last year, specially at WHL, where you outplayed us and somehow lost. Fair play!

AVB gone and will have to go somewhere a little more within his abilities.

Agreed. Not quite Prem top four material yet as has been proved at two clubs with good resources now. I'm quite gutted tbh, had faith in him and wanted to see what the rest of the season would bring. Losing 6-0 and 5-0 to top four challengers is unacceptable though and he had to go.

Still a young manager with potential, but agreed, not a top 4 manager yet.

If anyone wants Suarez, it's going to be a hell of a release clause.

Just signed a 4½-year deal (2 year extension) which will earn him £200,000 per week over the final four years of the contract. He'll earn around £160,000 until the end of this season.

Wise move from lfc, if he does ask to leave again at least they'll get top dollar.

It can be the only reason United gave Nani another 5 years

Surprised, but pleased, he did it to be honest - saves having to go through the January Merry-Go-Round. That said, it could be Torres all over again

I think Nani paid to stay on

Bale signed a new contract then left, it means nothing.

Battered them in the first half and could have been a lot more than 4. Second half they came out fighting a little more, but still pretty toothless.

Very good win last night. It's those last min wins that'll be the difference this year. We came up against a strung out Newcastle team last night. Thought at 2-2 in your game we were going to leap frog you but the right team is in fourth for now

Spurs v Newcastle at WHL 2012. We were 4 up in 34 mins. Probably the best Spuds team I've seen in my years supporting them. Dismantled the following summer. Go Levy!!
