Sounds to me like it's time for an internet campaign to boycott motorway service stations due to extortion.

Isn't that what the power of the internet is all about, FB, Twitter, car forums, then send the various links to the email addresses of the various MD's.

Come on you computer boffins, make yourselves useful.

Rage against the machine; We gotta take the power back.

I got my letter back from Parking Eye today, Pretty quick considering i only appealed 2 days ago....But i did kick up a stink with the store manager who was less than incompetent....He gave me his managers phone number so he got a bit off me too until i requested his bosses contact details and tbf he was very reasonable and looks like he sorted it out for me as its been dropped with no charge, lol....All depends on how much you complain and to whom IMO...And all this came before i complained to the CEO....But they were all very aware of it being the next step

You forget this is in the UK, where people like to moan on forums, but won't actually do anything!

I stopped using motorway services years ago as they are a complete rip off for everything. If you plan your journey there are loads of garages etc that are just off motorways where the prices can still be a bit higher , but nothing lke the services!

Today, 11 months later arrived letter number 8. They are "recommending" that parking eye take court action against me.

The saga continues.
