From what I can find out the husband 'daly' works for a haulage company so is in work. Also someone mentioned what flavour food their cat likes, well I don't think they have a cat. They do have a dog/dogs and a pet tarantula

Also have the name of his employers and their address if 'the gaffer' wants it, I won't be posting that on here

Hi,

ohhhhh yes please.

Heather Parr has been in touch, she reckons she is reporting us to the police based on using her personal photos, ??

She also tells us that we are morons that let the car go, she is so clever she made a massive profit out of the car which is currently on its way to Russia.

I do hope Boris the ******* finds out its not 400 BHP, the Russians have a powerful Mafia.

Wonder if Heather Parr lets the tax man know about the cars she sells.

Cheers and thanks for all your help,

Kev

I can't believe the brass neck some of these people possess.
It's not enough to turn over a genuine & helpful business like the Clinic, but then to go on this kind of tirade and flaunt their wrong-doings in the victims face is just unconscienable.
You seem to be taking this very calmly Kev, and it's great to see the Subaru community rallying (no pun intended) round.
I hope you get back what's rightfully yours, and these scumbags get what they deserve too.

The police are powerless unless the photo was stolen.
At worst it's breach of copyright and a civil matter, unless of course the poster had a legal right to the photo.

If she models there is a chance that she makes income in that respect as well, another to add to the list for HMRC.
The way these behave I suspect that there's a few more authorities that might be interested.

If you wish please PM me. I might be able to give you a little bit of persuasive power.

This is why I love Scoobynet, I'd never want to bugger anyone about on here as they'd no how many times I've been to the toilet within a day.

Hi,

it gets better,

A guy just rang up claiming to be the new owner of the car and threatened to burn us down for talking about his car on a forum.

Couple of things that dont add up, its supposed to be on its way to russia, the other is why would the new owner be upset with us as all we have done is try to warn him off this car.

I doubt its the new owner, its more likely ether the Johnsons or the pars, ether way we have his number and a recording of the phone conversation, I am sure the Police may now be interested.

Lucky Welsh chap any advice over a PM or e mail direct, info@scoobyclinic.com is welcome, thank you.

cheers

Tell her good luck with that, a) they're on the Internet for anyone to see. B) I haven't used it, although I was thinking of putting a copy above the fire as a safety deterrent

Scumbags!!!!!
How can people like this sleep at night?
All I know is if i had a car fixed and couldnt afford to pay the bill, I would be well chuffed that I could pay in installments never mind get the car back before it was even paid for! utter disgrace... SHAME ON YOU!
@The Gaffer... might be worth having some terms made up that give you "ROT" retention of title - meaning the parts used stay your property until paid in full.
(sorry if you know this already, I work in credit control and having 'ROT' on our goods has meant we can go in and get goods when the Debtor defaults... they soon pay up )

Hi,

crazy thing is we have been in business for 24 years from these premises and never had a problem before, we help people they generally help you back, true the odd one has needed a prod here and there but I wont let it ruin it for other people.

However we are so trusting that we have no "ROT" printed on our invoices but that’s about to change.

Thanks all for your support.

Cheers

Have they been issued an invoice???

I'm sure you said that theirs was the first one to have "retention of title" printed on it......

Hi,

they have had an invoice and are well aware of the figure and the deal we tried to do for them but there is no ROT on the invoice.

Our legal team stated that we did have a lien on the vehicle when it was on site, letting it go lost that lien, however if it came back in for any thing at all we were simply to box the car in and our lien would be reinstated.

Doubtful that will happen as alledgidly the car has sold and is on its way to Russia.

We are waiing for Mrs Johnson to respond to our court warning, which she wont and then its over to the small claims court.

Problem is however it goes I doubt we will get paid but it may stop them doing it again.

Cheers
Kev

Unfortunately that won't work. They'll simply point to this thread and use it as evidence that no such terms applied at the time.

I think I'm right in saying that if ROT had applied they would have committed a criminal offence, possibly more than one.

Fraudulent conversion comes to mind (they turned the Clinic's goods into cash for their own benefit).

The police could have taken action then.

Kev it stinks when someone screws you over like this. Added to that is the fact that you are no longer able to operate a system whereby people can pay in installments. This may well lose you business but you can't have folk ripping you off like this. You may have recourse for payment if you get a High Court writ and get the Sherrif's to execute it for you. Their cost is only £60 and may be an avenue worth exploring. No matter what happens though those scumbags who have ripped you off will get their comeuppance one way or another.

Shocking behaviour, can't believe people would try to rip off someone who is real genuine top bloke and was obviously trying to help them out. I'm really glad to hear you won't let them change you Kev. Some extra changes to paperwork wont hurt the genuine people out there, cause they'll have no intention of making you enforce it.

Don't let them get to you, and remember Karma, what goes around comes around.

Cheers.

Probably best to post the reg number up on here, so anyone who types the reg number in on google or any other search engine, they might get directed to this thread.

Always do this when I buy a car, incase the car Im intrested in has any hidden history by checking users posts on forums that I might not be aware of etc!!!!

Good shout, seriously.

The only problem is that now the car's got a new (shafted) owner they'll be the ones with a millstone around their neck.

Someone could however put their E-bay title on The Net. I know this has limited use but if they then have to use a new name their ratings will be low enough to make other buyers cautious.

Hi,

latest news.

A visit from the Police.

It appears both "Sarah Johnson" and "Heather Parr" have reported us to the police for using their images without permission.

We explained that we hadnt used the images at all and whoever had, got them off the public domain, i.e. if you dont want people looking at them, dont post them up anywhere, keep em on your desktop.

The Police enjoyed a guided tour of our premises and were very interested in all the track, race, rally and sprint cars.

They are now on their way to see Sarah johnson to explain about the public domain and tell her to pay here bill.

Reg number of the car N403 DRW.

Cheers

Hi,

Police have been in touch again asking us if we will remove the link to this thread from our facebook page.

Answer a big fat NO.

If she pays her bill I will remove it, then again......

Talk about wasting Police time, there is a list forming of the possible offences being committed by the debtors,

Pay your bill Sarah or at least talk to us with regard to a payment plan.

Cheers

Copper: I'm ringing to ask if you'd consider removing the link to the Scoobynet thread from your Facebook page.

Scoobyclinic: Could you just confirm what law we are breaking please.

Copper: You're not breaking any law.

Scoobyclinic: I think we'll go with NO then.

If you keep an eye on the sellers ebay feedback, once the buyer of this car leaves their feedback you should be able to contact them and tell them about their new purchase.

hahaha check out the sellers names that she left feedback for. She's kinky.
