"Android crushing Apple and MS"

I have just switched from iphone to Samsung Android as have many of my friends. Unless Apple change their stance on media sharing and downloading i think their days are numbered.
Who the hell are apple to police me? If i email myself a media file i can not download it onto my phone. I cant share files with other devices via blue-tooth because apple assume its a copyrighted file. I don't pay £500 for the privilege of having a mobile policeman in my pocket. No such limitations with the android, in fact it has stereo blue-tooth.

You'd best stick with Android, Apple have never been the pirates friend. By the way, the iPhone has better support for bluetooth than pretty much every Android phone.

Can you share a link via Bluetooth?
It's bloody annoying when my missus and I are in the same room and we want to send each other a link. We end up having to email it, which is preposterous, given I could just Bluetooth the link to a droid user.
Or, as I *have* used in the real world, just NFC it over to someone's device. Particularly useful when you have a location open in maps that you want to quickly share - say a pub you'll be meeting up at later.

Never heard of iMessage, perfect for the job. Or, search the app store, tons of Bluetooth sharing apps. And anyhow, what's wrong with email, works just as well, just as fast and you can use the same method for people who aren't in the room.

Plus, I thought I was the only person who kept Bluetooth on all the time, the amount of people who moan about having to click three times to turn it on and off is enormous.

Even better, they hacked both! The grammar of the tweet made me wonder.
Good job those new Android phones are super fast, you need the extra grunt to run the rogue code.

You can spend all eternity arguing the merits of both platforms.

When was 'The Store' hacked? You can't just make things up? Apps are checked before release, those hacked apps would never have made it into the App Store. Google Play is a cess pit.

Ok not the store as such but bypassing/hacking their so called purchasing checks has happened before and will probably happen again, I class that as pretty bad store hack. It doesn't matter what the OS or platform is, you can patch n patch all you like, but it won't stop the hackers.

Oh come on. Someone releasing a fart app that contains an unwanted advert or a link to **** is hardly comparable to someone gaining access to someone else's app, adding malicious code and releasing it to millions of unsuspecting customers. You're delusional.

This is certainly comparable! If i was working for marekting at Apple i would have been pissing my pants on an hourly basis, when it happened. Imagine the cash they hemorrhaged at that time, must have stung quite a bit that.

Neither of those are comparable. Someone having a slack password on their personal account or being able to get an app for free is nothing like an app on someone's - millions of - people's phones being taken over by a hacking group.
This isn't the start of this, Android will remain insecure because you as users want your 'Freedom' to install a Fart App from where you want, and Google don't make enough money to check apps for you.
