Overboosting help

I would get it sorted before the mapping. You may need a part replaced that a mapper hasn't got. I would recommend fitting a 3 port boost solenoid as it will be easier to Map with anyway and may solve your problems. Plenty of how to's around on fitting one.

Cheers, that's the plan. I don't think there are any boost/exhaust leaks to sort and I can't see a part going bad the same day I messed with the restrictor setup.... Ive a good feeling switching to 3 port and having it mapped will cure all, but wondered what 3 ports people tend to go for. The solenoids I've had in the past come with the ebc be it profec or Avcr etc. Wondered if there are quality generic or branded solenoids that work well on the subaru setup

On my v5 sti I used a 3 port from an earlier V2 impreza. Works great.
