Fitted the Russ Fellows system on Saturday and it sounds fantastic now , I'm off to Litchfield in the morning for them to have a listen to my clutch / gearbox to see if its a normal noise or not , I can have Nissan look into it further if need be when it goes back in for the new stereo and steering lock fitted.
Ordered some carbon trim bits for the inside of the car the other day to neaten up the dash

Is it Wessex you use as mines booked in couple weeks to get the steering lock re-call sorted?
Been trying to decide whether to go full carbon look inside or stick with what I have done so far. Want to do something with the gear surround and door trims as not keen on the silver as thinking and alcantara finish.

Yes its Wessex garage that is doing my work , spoke to the guy who looks after the GTR's there as he had me in the workshop showing me around the underneath of my car , seems a sound bloke , they will be ringing me shortly to drop it off for the work , the new exhaust note is doing the job of the stereo at the moment
Went to Litchfields this morning , wasn't quite the place I was expecting ! the guy said the noise mine is making is normal , maybe its just because I was used to the M3 making no noise for basically the same system

Had a good day out in it yesterday and clocked up a fair few miles, I'm still blown away by it. When I want to cruise on the motorway it's no different to drive than any normal car! When I need the urge for a spirited drive its on tap.
The "R" mode switches transform the car in manual aswell as auto. At this point I'm happy with the current power and performance.

Lovely to see this in the metal yesterday.. thanks for bringing it over!
The 2012 Gearbox software makes a lot of difference. One of the earlier cars I look after had it done recently and the low speed clutch takeup and crawling is ace now.

I am really looking forward to seeing your car Si, I love the sound they make and I'd imagine with a free flowing exhaust they sound immense.
I wouldn't try and keep up with you though, unless you were in neutral.

Sounds like the music that was stored in the music box has been list then? Get your CD's out and start loading them on!

Have been reading on the the GTROC site you can get a fitment to allow music to be played through your IPhone/IPod but won't transfer the music over. That's the only compromise I had to make over getting a 59 plate.

The lead and phone will be in the armrest and the display box by the CD slot , i'll put some pics up when its done so you can see , they did say they can fit a cheaper one thats wired into the ariel , but the quality wouldn't be very good
I bought a roadhawk incar camera just before christmas in the group buy on the MLR after that thread where that garage ragged the t1ts off that customers car and got caught , and as there as so many crap drivers about it would be good evidence if its ever needed should I be involved in an accident , so I'm having that fitted at the same time , also having it wired up in my van so I can swap the camera between vehicles
Just have to make sure its off if I ever feel the need to see if it will do 200
I'll give you a shout in the next couple of weeks and pop up to see what you can do
Cheers Ian
