When my manifold arrives I was thinking of having it done purple, along with some purple silicone pipes and gotta say I love it... Great work

It was just a joke mate, daz is lad from Donny who built a big power type r a few years ago.
It was a pretty serious motor, mag feature the lot.
He had a love for purple too

How many coats did it take to do the manifold Ryan ?

think it was 5-6 coats mate.... hardest thing to do due to shape of it... did 4 coats of primer fist and rubbed it down

Rite spoke to Simon at Cheveron yesterday.. leaving deposit on monday to start the build of my new turbo....
going to have it ceramic coat3d and clocked with adjustable actuator bravket to suit reverse inlet im doing.
like a 5year old at xmas atm... everything seems to be coming together slowly hehehehe

Few pictures from today engine starting to come together now.. juat a few oil lines and fuel system to put on and will be ready to put in car
... hopefully have it running in 3 weeks time.
Swirl pot painted be dry by tomorrow ready to fit under bonnet with boche 44 pump
D2 8pots and disks rady to put on car.. running standard pads atm once car is run in will be putting some better pads on

That's a blinging engine - reminds me of an old bike I had that I resprayed ford velvet purple - will look mint when it's fitted

Thanks yeah hoping so by time its finished next big job once engine is in is doimg reverse pipework for fmic.. thats goimg to be a days worth of work

When I saw the pic of the inlet purple. I thought what have you done!! But to be fair the last pic on the engine stand with all the other bits, it looks quite good.
When I finally do my build, I would love to do candy red( I got a black car)
