Block looks amazing painted black! I never even knew that cosworth done the tumblers! Are they a recent release? Any plans on painting the cosworth inlet?

Looking forward to following your progress
Cosworth started off using the Subaru tumblers with there manifold and then when company's started making inlet manifold spacers with there thermal properties,Cosworth thought that there was money to be made here and made the whole tumbler out of a material that does not transmit heat into the manifold it is a nice part but pricey. To be honest I have not really given spraying the inlet manifold any thought I might just keep it silver the way it comes as standard as it does not look to bad like that and will still fit into my colour scheme. Thanks for your positive comments and stay tuned there is more to come pretty soonSJ.

After doing some thinkingand a bit more planing of my fuelling system in my head I made the decision that I was going to go with 2 external fuel pumps being feed by my intank pump, after reading a few more threads on naisco and talking to a few guys that I know who have similar mods on there cars I purchased this set up to link the pumps in a tidy fashion I already had two bosch fuel pumps so should work well for my needs.SJ.

I'm glad mate your car is a superb example.I'm still going to be sending you my headlights to be done I've just been so busy with the end of this year and sorting my wife's car out getting looms made up for her car and booking a mapping session for her and still dealing with the kids and work and everyday problems, but I will get the headlights off sometime in JAN/FEB if that's all right for you?SJ.

Well I'm doing two builds at once kind ofas my complete engine and brakes went in to my wife's classic,https://www.scoobynet.com/projects-4...somewhere.html and her car should be finished in January as it's getting mapped in a couple of weeks and then me and Neil can concentrate on getting mine exactly the way I want it I still have flocking and other interior mods to be reworked and done but the engine is practically built and my heads are done,so April may I would say if not before.SJ.

Hi Adrian
Called into Slowboys yesterday to catch up with Neil. Saw the Blue Bitch nestled in the workshop, looking dust free.
I do like the AP's no trouble stopping with those.
Nice to see your car coming together. Check out the carbon effect inlet manifold get Neil to send you pics.
Catch you at Neil's some time.

Project has stalled for a while why I am waiting for some more 14mm head Bolts to arrive it's along story so I won't bore you with the details,it's no biggie though and has given Neil abit of a breather to start on my interior no pictures as yet as still planing things out and waiting for flocked parts to turn up.A few things did turn up though my RallyTech engine dress up kit from the group buy,and my new tyres and valves as I had a couple of those rubbery toss looking valves and thought it would be a chance to get some nice short alloy onesSo demon tweeks was called up and a gold set of RICHBROOK valves was ordered.I also decided to get more track focused tyres that can still be used on the road,I had a few choices but as I have used Yoko R888 and rated them I decided to get tyres from that brand and settled with the AD08R,my tyres will be getting fitted tomorrow so will take some more pictures then.SJ.

RALLYTECH ENGINE BOLT KIT.

RICHBROOK VALVES.

Can certainly assist with 14mm studs as we produce our own kits as well as being able to procure other brands, can even custom thread if required

Nice one Alyn but I think Neil has already ordered some from smg,as the RCM ones I had would not fit the blocks as the block was done after I had already brought the RCM head studs and when he machined the block he machined them for his own 14mm bolts which are a different thread from the RCM 14mm bolts another corner turned and learnedSJ.
