Swift Sport or Fabia VRS
It's not too bad of a deal considering you can drive a new car but does that include all your costs (deposit, monthly installments, 2 services, insurance), basically all costs one has to pay over a 2-yr period apart from tax and petrol?
I'd like to know what it costs if one does 20k per year and if e.g. the tyres need replacing who pays for this, you or the leasing company?

If i go over the 10k mileage then it costs around 6 pence per mile extra - if you opt for the 20k mileage then it'll cost more than the 10k but less than the 10k and 6p a mile added on.
Insurance is paid for by the user - the lease company don't include this with their packages
Road tax is included in the deal
over the 2 years it'll cost me
£1070 up fornt
£175 a month x 24 (inc GAP and options - style pack and spare wheel)
so £5270 if i keep it the full 2 years (i'll change it after the min 18 months) so it'll cost me £4220
I'll rotate the tyres so the set should last me as i'll do 10k - 15k
1st service is approx £120 at the main dealers but i can get it done cheap at a local vat registered garage (maybe £60)
yes it was, but it still has a moustache...to go with the Audi beards. What is it with VAG and their facial haired cars?
Have to admit I have a real soft spot for the 5 door swift sport. Wish I could explain why but I cant.
I liked the VRS as well but every time I look into getting a VAG I just read horror stories about their reliability. The Swift Sport just seems to work properly.

I wouldn't have VAG again
Had loads of grief with my VRS Fabia, including turbo (second time for that), water leaks, suspension bushings... list goes on
Ultimately it's a diesel too

My impression of VAG is that they are yesteryears Skoda. The only reason people don't point and laugh is due to their perceived quality and nice designs.
