I see you've marked the FMIC bracket to trim off the sharp edges - I did mine at the side to and don't know why they didn't come like that

It's so big it's actually a PITA to fit as I can't sensibly run any heatshielding around it. If I go mafless I'll look at wedging it through the wing a bit and creating some shielding

He won't sell me one because it won't fit with my FMIC pipework; the modifications required to it would render it pretty useless, but I can fabricate something similar out of sheet aluminium but that will fit my set-up better - either that or flip the FMIC and re-route the pipework

Picked it up secondhand - although it was unused

It's a K&N universal filter with an OE size neck

Not sure, if it's light when I get home tonight I'll measure it up but more likely tomorrow before I can do that

So having a few issues with the running of the car, seems that the WRX loom doesnt run the STI engine properly so i have 2 choices i fork out for a second hand STI loom and take all my engine and all that out again to fit it all in, or i just buy another shell but a STI one with a complete loom in it and then just throw all the bits from my project onto another shell......

to be fair i gotta take the engine out to do both so i think i gonna start again but with a STI shell rather than the WRX shell

So WRX shell with be bare soon and up for sale when i have stripped all my bits off it again

Had a re think about its and to be fair im just gonna get a STI loom and re fit that im thinking as ive come to far to strip it down and start again

So the loom is out now and ready for the STI loom to come next month but as its stripped i might look to get the cage all in and done first before i put it back together
