So i have now fitted the engine into the WRX this weekend but cant get it to run, i have changed the ECU the chip in the key and basically every box from the STI to the WRX. I have fuel getting up to the engine and i have a spark, whe turns over lovely she just will not fire? The STI speedo that i fitted in aswel the outside temp doesnt seem to be working either but that could be anything the only thing that seems suspect is that when you take the key out of the ignition the key light on the dash just flashes now and again

Someone might of pinched them as I recon they are quite expensive and if the shell is from a breakers you can bet they are for sale on ebay, and folks always pinch fuses and relays at breakers yards, pain in the **** if it's what your looking for, one of the relays on my transporter is £90.

Right so its been a while again, the joys or working a full time job and then only getting the weekends to work on the project. Its been a cold and wet winter and my unit leaked like mad so i have now sourced another united a drier unit and now i can seriously crack on with it.

After getting the engine all in and running i have now re fitted all the running gear and added adjustable rear trailing arms and added 6 pot k sports on the rear to go with my 8 pots on the front.

I have now removed the engine again to do the rocker cover gaskets and timing belt plus some other bits, so i thought its about time i updated this thread

WARNING A LOT OF PICTURES (has been 3 months tho)
