......yet until I feel comfortable with the purchases by better word of mouth and general performance as its not all in the names of brands etc.
Plus cleaning the car was a project as it needed the tlc and wanted to show it off like a proper little lifestyler

sorry i need to ask this though, you say above "until I feel comfortable with the purchases by better word of mouth and general performance as its not all in the names of brands etc."
who told you a dump valve was a good idea on an impreza? also you have a cheap one too that already is leaking boost due to sticking.
why did you glue your oil cap down?? they dont leak at all and how will you change the oil or top it up??
has the car been mapped for that induction kit too as looking at your engine its a standard wrx one and the induction kit is pointless at that power and the standard airbox will be better.

All very fair points. If you read my posts on the dump valve I hate them as they sound awful and Barry boyish.
My oil cap isn't glued down there's apparently a common leak on the metal try that appears on these so Simon at Cadman garage advised me that they are probe to leaking so he glued where they are probe to leak. ( not the actual oil cap as yes that would be ridiculous.
And no it's not been mapped yet as the previous owner was an older generation gentleman and bought what looked like a rip speed filter which is coming off as its rusty and just not up to it, ill probably put a standard one on there for now until I decide what engine upgrades I'm after, turbo, fmic, injectors, headers, mani, block, etc etc will all come In time once I have some spare change.
Then a remap will come once all is ready to go.
Tbf I'm allways like this instead of doing one thing at a time I tend to do everything at once.
Main thing ATM is freshening it up and getting a good service done (clutch and timing belt change)
Hope this helps

Christ, some people just love pissing on other peoples chips don't they? Plenty of the project threads start with the car getting a wash and a bit of chatter about future plans, nowt wrong with that.
Stud size? 1.25.

He's just a nay sayer that's all, I understood where your coming from, just gauging your ideas as this is your first subaru and are a little under knowleged when it comes to mods etc. you have stated glueing the oil cap but what you meant was the header tank has a small leak and he glued it for you as he did mine ;-)

Deffinatly different haha. It's the brides I'm more interested in as I've had the cobra the sparcos and want something a bit more classy with this one.
I even had what looked like a pilot cross hawkings chair
That thing keeped me stuck I and killed my back.
Not good in a daily skid car!!!
These worked a lot better and were ultra low like they pretty much bolted straight to the floor
So yea will be looking at brides but prob next year

Well here's an update.
Some very tidy bcs from the lads at scooby parts. (Top guys)
Pleased with the product although the cogs are too stiff for me to undo ATM so will update with some shots later in the week
Other than that I've taken off the the side skirts for some standard ones painted white which are in the process of paint and should look a bit cleaner.
Next up will be wheels or a full exhaust as I'm not keen on ovals mongoose systems.
