Should I be able to compress the dampers by hand? Concerned I cant and reluctant to fit until i get clarification

Hi Steve ...
U cannot compress the dampers by hand it will take the weight of the
Bonnet to compress them

did not have time yesterday but here are a couple of picture's fitted to the car, I had some Decals going spare so I put them on the arms..

Mine have arrived too - just need a gap to fit. Thanks!
That white hawk looks the business, so clean. You could also remove your stock bonnet hook now too, saving 1/2 a pound of weight and cleaning up the look even more.

I did look at this quickly earlier, is there a bolt that holds in or does it just pull out..

truly a lovely looking scoob u have there, I love the rb320's but I do like the look of a hawk in white..
As for the oe bonnet stand I believe it just pulls out, well it did on my type r I would have thought that the design would be the same... Have a little pull on it see if it moves
