Right not sure how this gb will go but due to the popularity of the first and a number of members asking im getting a second gb on the go.

The thread will be open for one month or 20 registered people which ever comes first but need a min of 10 people.

The kits are compleate with everything needed except for tools of which you will need a spanner or two. No cutting or drilling required as they just use your current holes one on wing & one on bonnet hinge. They are very simple to fit and should not take more than 20 to 30 mins to fit even for a newbie and comes compleat with instuctions if you are unsure.

I can honestly say that i have sold quite a few sets of classic & newage dampers with no issues to date they are made high quality and simple to fit... if u have any queries please just message me if your not intrested pretty please dont spam my thread with your quirky remarks.




The pic above represents the classic dampers but the newage dampers will be exactly the same just newage fitment..

There will be a wait once i have orded then dampers due to the fact they need to be made and then supplied to myself
Once i have recived the dampers they will be sent recorded delivery to you address.

update : due to a MASSIVE increases in Royal Mail postal costs starting from today (2nd April)! I will have to slightly increase the price of the dampers by £2 this dose not reflect the increase that Royal Mail have made as I will now have to send the dampers via courier ( my herms ) as it will be cheaper than rm. Royal Mail have doubled the price of what it would cost to get these sent out due to the length. I am trying to keep these as cheap as possible but when somthing like this happens I have no other choice if anyone is unhappy with with the increase please pm me and I will remove them from the list if they feel unhappy at the increase

Hi Crazy, am I missing something with these dampers? I can't get mine to extend or compress? Do they have a locking mechanism I'm not aware of?

 

There already extended ... Have you fitted them yet ?

 

Hi Crazy, I've put my bracket on, and put the connector on the fender - and my damper seems to be about half an inch too short.

I can't compress my damper at all with my hands, is it supposed to be like this?

U will not be able to compress the dampers by hand ! U will need the weight of the bonnet to get them to close up.
I don't understand what u mean by to short have u take the bonnet off the oe hook stand and lowered it 10mm ?

 

Yep, sorted it now by releasing the default catch - my bad!
