i was a stupid 13 year old kid and smoked for a few weeks. That was until my friends mum caught us and threatened to tell my dad, who would have kicked the **** out of me, so i stopped instantly. SO glad of that!
I had to watch my grandad die of smoking related deseases last year, took him almost 6 months of agony, broke my heart to see him go through that every day.
He had an excuse because when he started he didnt have the health information. As soon as he realised, he quit but it was too late then, the damage was already done.
Just dont do it, its an expensive "pleasure" that will kill you, not in a quick way like a heart atack or car crash, but in a slow and incredibly painful way for yourself and your family. Trust me, when you are sat in your bed in hospital, in agony gasping for breath crying with your family, you will prefer to die in a diferent way. No one will live for ever, but dieing in this way is horendous, you have a choice not too!
If you start smoking with the information you have today, then quite frankly you are a stupid fool. The thing that amazes me is the amount that teenagers smoke, we as a society are doing something seriously wrong and failing these kids badly.![Frown](images/smilies/frown.gif)

My dad died from Emphysaema, Chronic Bronchitis and Coronry Thrombosis aged 51 when I was 9....bit a of a powerful object lesson that![Wink](images/smilies/wink.gif)
The only two times i have ever smoked were a joint when I was 17 which obviously had so little hash in it it did nothing for me, and when i split up with a girlfriend about 10 years ago and she lit up a cigarette so I pinched one and smoked it (two actually) out of spite.....I then promptly went to the loo and threw up!!!![Roll Eyes (Sarcastic)](images/smilies/rolleyes.gif)
Anyone who smokes need their head looking at and unfortunately, where my generation (forties) have been turned away from smoking by bad experience and education, it seems to have been diluted in the next generation.
My daughters both smoked when they were in their teens even tho they never had a grandad and their grandma died of lung cancer.....
luckily they've both given up (for the time being) but in my experience, most people go back to it....
