This is true. In this case i think it's a case of people potentially trying to outwit the scammers, by thinking too hard about it. Occupational hazard i'm afraid. So it's probably only the highly intelligent or utterly dense who'd fall for it. Everybody who's "average" is safe.

shes got 2 degrees , 1 is a masters
do you know with salad ,it says on the label or its common knowledge you have to wash it.

The biggest giveaway is when they don't bother to mention what it is that they are buying, just referring to "the item" or something similar. Because they are cut'n'pasting to loads and loads of adverts. If they don't name the item, and ask at least one proper (non-generic) question then it's a scam.

I'm an old duffer with incontinence and memory problems ..... but, even I can see this is a scam - spelling, grammer, I wouldn't sell my zimmer frame to anyone who couldn't string a sensible sentence together!!
