OP.....My mate currently has a carbon fibre scoop like this for sale on eBay if you are interested? It will certainly not be £75! Haha. Its matt black so will need painting if you you want that as a cheaper option. Came off his classic so will fit.

Yeh I was just making sure you was that Simon gunson! Small world. Smart car, looks good, suits the spoiler too. What insurance company you with to get insurance on that? I'm rebuilding mine cos I thought there would be no point in looking for another couple of years. (Also pretty rotten too like)

I have a 143 bhp Mazda 6 estate with RCIB and at the moment, the subaru is insured with REIS for my dad. I can pay £80 for a 3 day weekend, £110 for a week and £700 for the year. Waiting till June before I switch to the Co-op (Giving me third party cover and letting me drive anyone's car on their say so). Then I will have my Mazda insured for me and keep the Scooby insured with dad and just drive it when I feel like it.

It's with REIS because it has been modified and is used for both road and track.

So what mods you planning for it?

Next thing is uprated calipers, tyres, rims and STI 6 speed. Then rebuild the spare engine and uprate the turbo to take higher boost. If i get bored after that, Maybe fit a supercharger.

It's an EJ20, normal 2.0 flat 4. I'm looking at conversion kits and the cheapest I can find for a relatively low milage is 1.8-2k

Yeah turbo. Boosting to 16 psi at the mo. Not sure what bhp but it shifts! Has had rollcage put in, and only got 2 lightweight cobra seats in the front. Carpets and back seats are out

Sounds good mate, only drove mine a couple of times before I put it away but what a feeling, they go like ****. Kinda wish it was still running cos a 1.4 civic does not give you the same buzz ha

No worries. Some do, some don't! Be a year or two, depending on insurance, before I get an 03+ STI in blue!

I know what you mean, Lee, My 2.0 TD feels like a lawnmower in comparison!

Some darker tints in the side window would look good. It would break up the red a with a bit more black on the side view i reckon. Watch you legality and insurance if you do though
