IMO, I think that it is such a small minority of homosexuals that ACTUALLY want to get married in a Church, it's crazy to change the law just to let this happen.
It's all the other homosexuals who are just supporting this minority simply because they are homosexuals like themselves. Status symbol or not, it's pointless and should be kept how it is.
Hell, I want a Knighthood, maybe we should change the law so that everyone is entitled to that status.

You should really work on your inter personal skills before attempting to communicate...

In my experience gay people are much more promiscuous than hetros, in fact they may be in a stable relationship with a partner but are always on the lookout for the next gay person to come into the room. With a demeanour like a meerkat.
If they are happy with their partner they should relax and enjoy, forget about marriage or civil relationships because the next partner is always around the corner anyway.
The whole gay marriage thing is just a waste of energy and they should relax and realise they are living a totally different lifestyle.

I say yes... If 2 people love one another then why not... People say the bible said no but the bible agrees with slavery and society ignored this and stopped it...
Can't have the rules to suit...
Have to add. It's not all about pushing poo... There are lezzers out there to that do wonderful things with their fists.... So I've seen

The way you go on about it is immoral and wrong.
You seem completely fixated with sexual acts, this bill has absolutely nothing to do with sex (I'm pretty sure gay people will continue have sex regardless of their marital status), all this bill does is allow people who want to marry to do so.

As said previously, what's wrong with the current system; Civil Partnerships?
IMO, men marrying men just isn't meant to be. I'm not religious (other family members are though), but men and woman are different sexes for a reason.
It's only the homosexuals who REALLY want this, just so they can say they're "happily married" and have a dance and sing-song.
As it's clear in this thread, the people who voted yes don't care, which brings me back to the first point... why not just leave it how it already is; Civil Partnerships?

This is nothing but tiresome symbolism. A civil partnership provides same sex couples with all the pertinent rights that a heterosexual married couple have.
Yet again, when we should be focusing on the economy, employment, growth etc we are poncing about with another 'fox-hunting' waste of time.
I hear on BBC that more than half of Conservative M.P.s voted against this bill. Why, oh why, would David Cameron be going down this road?
Maybe I have rose-tinted spectacles, but I yearn for a time passed where the 'news' didn't appear pre-occupied with Islam, poofs and the poor. Frankly, their angst is becoming seriously tiresome and predictable.
