At the end of the day you have quite a nice Subaru, but it is not a proper special edition and is only a Subaru. When all is said and done true petrolheads, like me, are interested in all sorts of marques and models... people like you are one marque wonders who have no proper appreciation of performance cars... or you wouldn't refer to any AMG 55 car as poxy! I am not saying you have to like it (in fact I hope you don't as the last person I want to see in an AMG would be you), but poxy it is not!

Finally and on a totally serious note there is a huge disparity between the style of the posts you make during the day to those you make in the early hours of the morning. I am not sure whether you have some 'issues' as it's not my place to judge and frankly I really don't care, but it is something noted by many and something you might want to take a look at!

Now let this be an end to it. You have said your piece and I mine. Draw a line under it and walk away, it would probably be for the best on both sides and certainly for the other poor posters who would have to wade through this crap!

Yet another attempt at intellectual bullying, including the attempt to get "the other poor posters" to empathise (sympathise even) with you in your predicament.

If you took others' views on board you'd have realised on Sunday night that a number of "the other poor posters" are uncomfortable with the content of some posts and the manner of some members.
Iirc just a few weeks ago two new members were put off by what they had read and/or been subjected to.
Fwiw your inglorious contribution about Melvatron having being treated OK because he didn't ask questions about VTA, BOV's etc. - and being 'run out of town' if he had - brought home to me the fact that something needs to be done - and it has.

What's been thrown at you mirrors comments and insinuations that you have levelled at other members and it's been compounded because I've also done something that you do an awful lot of the time.

You are blessed with being educated and a reasonable intellect, yet you use those gifts to look down on people, to talk down to them. There's very few 'imo's in your posts, everything is more or less authoritative - this 'will' happen, that 'will' be the result etc. etc. Well, I've given you a taste of your own medicine I'm afraid.

I sincerely take no great joy at having done it, nor having to explain it in public but others have had to take it from you, and perhaps you might choose to be a little more circumspect in the future.

Talking of which, my feet are firmly on the ground and I don't portend to be a modern-day Ghost of Christmas Future. One thing is certain though - if you do see the light I won't be doing a lap of honour, gloating or looking on it as a victory.

Instead I'll have a warm glow that someone's feet are firmly back on the ground, for that's the safest place to be.

Im with you dude, Ive only just back on the forum and I quickly realised who the prize muppets are. Oh and I have a PHD but I generally dont use my so-called 'intellect' as a tool to belittle others...I obviously don't know the full history and story, but the guy obviously has some physcological issues, and possibly could do with medication or some meditation classes

I think there has been enough bickering between some members now, so from this point on, can you guys just ignore each other as has even been suggested by one of the members involved in this. Avoid each other, ignore each other, even use the ignore button if necessary, but I ask politely that this stops now.

Apart from anything else, it is taking this thread off topic (as happens with others) and other people don't want to see this crap. You've said your piece to one another, it's clear there is no love lost, so just please ignore each other.

Any more off topic, bitching posts will be removed, so best not bother wasting your time.

Lisa is it possible to put members on an 'ignore list' or something on here? Some members do spout continual garbage and abuse on here f1_fan being one of the most prominent - it would be nice just to remove that sort of posting from the threads...

In your user CP, there is an option to add users to your own ignore list.

The set up here will block their posts, however, if they are quoted, you will still be able to see that.
