Are scoobys over rated?

So in terms of value-for-money, bang for buck, foot pound for pound there's no doubting the desirability of a Subaru ?
Well, faster than most off the line, around bends, through roundabouts and around them.
Your Fords are certainly quicker from 0-oblivion than a Subaru.
Take your Scooby for a spin down a few country roads utilising all your driving skills, and then try to do the same in an RS or whatever.
If you survive the second journey that will be because you either haven't the necessary skills to use a Subaru to its full potential, or you bottled it in the Ford.
I almost caused a young lad to kill himself and his missus a few weeks back.
Proud as can be in his pride and joy Fiesta ST he decided to be quicker than the scooby behind him and take a bend at 80. Twitched but fortunately didn't fishtail. I simply carried on at 70, and passed him in 5th with a blip of the accelerator.
Had I have accelerated into the bend and he saw me bearing down on him it would probably have been carnage.
It's not about speed, it's about the ability to handle it, and the car has an awful lot to do with that.
0-oblivion is the measure of man and machine in perfect harmony.
I'm already 0-57 and you have a long way to go to catch up.
If your driving mirrors the immaturity you've displayed on here you might never catch me.
Now, point this thread out to your mates waiting in whatever 'Look how I'm p!ssing off those scabby net to$$ers' forum that's having a laugh at this.
You haven't got the fastest cars, you haven't got the safest cars.
And neither have Subaru drivers.
But we make less Insurance claims and as far as I can see we've lived longer.
Work it out.

and scoobs are less desirable cars so less nicked, hense less insurance claims haha
So lets recap for those who can't be arsed to read the whole thread.
Boy buy's Focus RS, can't afford payments on finance.
Boy sells Focus RS buys Subaru STI Type R.
Boy gets a$$ handed to him by mate in Fiesta ST.
Boy want's to know how this happened.
Boy gets told it's because he can't drive.
Boy gets hump and says "it must be the car"
Boy gets car checked and it's fine.
Boy gets told to get some lessons and learn how to handle a mans car.
Boy gets hump and slags off subarus.
So now we see a vid where a 420bhp Focus gets it's a$$ handed to it by a 311bhp subaru, and he's still defending the ford.

As for the Video, ive said the RS isnt the best off the line, put both cars back together and try 30-130

But by your own admission you couldn't afford it.
Like what exactly?
You just don't know how to drive a subaru Type r corners are where they excel, it's not a case of throw it in any how and let the technology take care of you, you need to get an EVO for that.
Err no it's because they are mostly owned by people that know how to drive so don't get crashed as much, although i'm sure that's about to change due to the front wheel I don't know how to drive crew getting their hands on them.
My cars speak for themselves subarus are the bench mark by which others judge their cars, which is why every nobber in a ford wants to race them.
As for trying making myself look big at your expense, I don't have to try, you do it all by yourself.
As for the 30/130 the scoob would already be gone by 30mph, did you not watch the vid.
Yes and no, in terms of what you can get out of them for amount of money you put into them, you can get some serious power, in which case it maybe the car i was expecting.... but there are more desirable cars out there for similar ££££
Faster off the line, yes if it doesnt **** a diff launching haha around the bends and roundabouts, id say the RS handles better....in the scoob you can put the power down earlier on the exit of a bend, but the higher average speed through the corner would be the RS...
and scoobs are less desirable cars so less nicked, hense less insurance claims haha
look at it how you like, i know what happened, ive driven and owned both cars so know which is best, so im talking from experience rather than yourself whos trying to make himself look big on a forum trying to protect his car

No, i said i couldnt afford to keep the car and my lifestyle, if i wanted to stop going out with mates and to the pub etc as muchi could have kept it...
Depends what scoob you wanna compare, skylines are more sought after than a classic scoob, or for the cost of say a new hatch theres a lot of car you could get for similar ££££
you say it as though the scoob is supposed to be a hard car to drive.. having 4wd its probably one of the easiest cars ive jumped in and been able to drive fast, just not as fast as the RS haha
scoobys are owned mostly by people who think they can drive.... put almost anyone on this forum and ask them to drive i high powered 3Dr cossie on track and bet most will eithr take it slow or spin cause they dont have the aid of 4WD....
Well goes to show how good scoobs are if there gettign compared to FWD hot hatches?!
and yes, i saw the video, they didnt do a rolling start from 30-130... if they did the result would have been different./..

Yeah, but if the focus had an AWD conversion, it would have whooped the Scoob

All you have done is confirm the fact that you have absolutely NO idea how to drive an STI Type R.
Edit to add; and **** all about anything else too, nobber.
