Makes sense AS LONG as you are the only person to touch the media in question. My wife puts CDs away anywhere. I don't even bother putting the vinyl in any order whatsoever.

The CDs are in drawers, in sections. Rock, hip-hop/soul/RnB(thats proper RnB, not fricking Rihanna), and I ask her to at least follow that vague arrangement. Doesn't happen.
