Considering I had not sat of a bike for just over 20 years it was a bit of a body shock at first but now it's the best thing I've done in the long time
Weather permitting we are out once or twice every week
Hunter gathering mode at the moment and I've just pick these chaps up
I need to get the rears in preparation now they are all lined up, then get the PCD re drilled for the classic fitment..... This time around I'm thinking of getting the discs grooved a touch for show. I had planned to paint them red but the black does look sweet

One of the guys on the RA forum posted a link to some Brembo decals which are design to be lacquered over so I have sent away for them as I had them in mind for the initial red idea... I have to get the paint for the rears anyway and I'm just thinking maybe I could loose the Sti logo and drop the Brembo decal on the fronts as well to just to be a little different.

Thanks Glenn
I'm going to order some paint shortly when I have an idea of my needs, one being etch primer and some zinc coat maybe.
I've sorted the exhaust out today I'm pleased to say and will have a HKS Silent HiPower here ready to polish for when its time to fit, best exhaust ever made I feel that will be here next week and pictures to follow.
Another early planning step will be wheels.. I'm sticking with 17"s that's a fact on this one but first I need to find what fits over the brakes and then see what's available at what cost. I know what I like but that does not mean it likes my wallet so any ideas and pictures for wheels fire away I'm open to opinions.

Disc centres are going to be silver this time, I did black on my last conversion and I think silver will add a clean look to it.
Small parts update, exhaust arrived today from Ade to me this is the best off the shelf exhaust available its volume look and quality tick all of my boxes
Here's a few before I start to work on it
Also found the old mock up bracket we made around 5 years ago for mounting the rear Brembo calipers.... This was taken from a design discussed on this forum a long while back and put into practice.
Sorry not the best quality pictures tonight but you get the idea, it's a one piece construction which will mount the Calipers in the correct place for the OEM size rear Brembo discs to be fitted along with enlarged handbrake shoes. I have some pictures of my old set up if anyone wants to have a closer look at the finished job now.
