The picture shown on the thread looks to be a 90' elbow to me can see on the thread he says its front entry tho? Looking at the pic I would not say so tho unless that's not the turbo in question?

Jura I'm running 650's and Simon said the standard FPR will be fine.
Unless they're different between WRX and STI I'd leave it alone.
I'd also recommend the HRC's - got one on mine too
Unless it's 2.5 (or foreign) engine he shouldn't have TGV's - according to most none of the EJ20 STI UK engines had them.
Your questions re AVCS are a good point though - it would be interesting to hear how the STI unit has been wired in and mapped...

WRX have TGV,better option is get hold off 2.0L UK STi,which can cost less than paying someone to do porting TGV
HRC are good fuel pumps and really for money which you are paying for them is worth to consider

About the headers yours headers if they're WRX/STi are 2 bolt and you will need 2 bolt Up pipe, speak with Alyn@AS Performance which should be able to make one in near future Harvey Up pipe, which should help in spool up
TD turbo is good as above said, they're no problem to rebuild, yes you can rebuild any turbo as IHI,but sometimes is problem to hold off the spare parts
If you are thinking go with GT Spec headers, you don't need them and usually GT Spec headers are recommended above 400bhp,below that you can loose spool.
Classic 3-port will fit on yours without the problem
Spark plugs as above 7b I would suggest too and panel filter depends on your preference, difference between them is marginal

Agree with the comments re headers, I was told this too by Harvey when asking about them.
Re IHI rebuild, I was under the impression that the '34 and '35 turbos are sealed units, have you seen them repaired then as I've never seen one come up for sale.

I modded mine to front entry and have been running it for a few 1000 miles and it's all good
The problem is for some reason folks think turbos are worth good money
They're not td05 16s are in abundance and £50/60 is about right
And Td04 IMHO are even cheaper £0 worthless

Shreksta I've noticed you have a milltek down pipe, have you fitted it yet? As I see you fitting with japspeed items, the millteks are only made for other millteks as they have diffrent lengths to others and you have 3" centre section, what size is your milltek as they come in 2.75 or 3"?

i kept the de-cat downpipe but removed the rest of the system as it wasnt loud enough for me
i now have a miltek de-cat downpipe fitted to a miltek de-cat + de-resonated center section (this came up cheap so instead of chopping mine up i bought this and sold mine) then i have a japspeed backbox with 3" bore pipework fitted to it

I would Have to agree with that statement, got a full milltek on mine and whilst its not a drone, it aint got enough depth to the exhaust note IMO, But mine has got a resonator on the center section, and the back box is quite chunky so gonna try a non resonated center and see what happens, if I don't like it ill add a new back box and if that turns out to be too loud or droning i'll use the original resonated section with the new back box and see what the outcome is then don't want it monstrosity loud, but it needs that bit more

I can't say I dislike the note because I don't as such but needs a little more depth to it, when its on boost you can hear the turbo going nuts but being a twinscroll anyway I ain't got the traditional burble which I'm now use to, but to make up for it the exhaust needs a little more of a "bark" so to speak, everyone who has got in there has commented how quiet it actually is even on boost compared to my uk model, even have comments of "I thought you was an Evo coming up there then" and I get that quite regular so something needs to be done, can't have people thinking my beloved scoob is an Evo think ill change the center section first and go from there.
I have also read that millteks have their own fittings but what I made of it was that the flanges don't meet up as they are welded in a different position to other exhausts, so if I wanted to keep the rear box for now but change the center, can anybody tell me what pipe will go in between was goin to try a cobra 3" non resonated section which we have kicking about up the unit somewhere, any ideas if it will fit guys? I don't mind having to re tack the flange in to a different position but is the length of the centre section the same?

And then you have a full milltek on, which milltek are one of the mature type exhausts with a quality sound on boost, tbh I would prefer it quiter,
To get the burble type sound back, you would probably need to change the headers to un-equal length headers but think people in past have still not been happy with sound.
Leave it and don't join the noisy clan it's about performance and handling to me, the quiter the better lol
