Time Attack race car build
Cheers guys, the issue was simply the ignition switch failed, not sure why? think it was over loaded or something???
The bonnet is from ABW as with all of the other body kit, as mentioned to others, if you call Daren he can make things to order, the home page just gives you an idea of his work, I asked for this design and he obliged

^^^^ cheers dude, I think were gonna be ok, Steven Darley (SD Motorsport) is working flat out to both get it fixed and improved prior to rd2 of Time Attack at Croft on the 11th May, I am not totally sure we will be ready, but every effort is being made, I will update with the progress after this weekend. In the mean time the ECU is being sent away to Syvecs for an upgrade, I am just waiting on a dry sump kit to arrive and.... we are getting some very nice kit from Whiteline which will hopefully help a lot
again will give details next week when the car is being rebuilt, in the mean time... here are the links >

Cheers guys, being honest its easy now looking at the video and thinking I should have...... but its 2 seconds from lock-up to impact, I have thought I should have done a, b & c, but I never and unforunately boom!!
We are hoping to be out by the 11th May at Croft for Time Attack, but will miss the bank holiday track day that is booked
Hopefully I will have some pictures up in the next two weeks and you wont know the accident had even happened!! Steven Darley at SD Motorsport has most things covered already, we have sourced replacement fmic, radiator, oil cooler, and a few other bits and bobs so its coming along nicely.
I rang Daren at ABW on Sunday and what a guy, we will have all of the replacement body panels by the weekend giving us a week to rebuild
tyhanks for all the support Daren.
If we manage to get a result at Croft Time Attack it will be unbelieveable, so watch this space!!
Cheers everyone.

yes mate, solid mounts. I also have the rear diff mounted to the cage and have a SD Motorsport gearbox cradle and SD Motorsport rear sub frame too, great bits of kit
the car is completely gutted which makes it a bit noisy too
the car is completely gutted which makes it a bit noisy too they are there only when both layouts are being run at the same time to stop errant cars from ending up on the 2nd circuit........if you watch the end of Lee's vid you will see a bike session underway behind them
And so the rebuild has started!!!
As you can see above the car had a bit of a bump!! so Steven and the team at SD Motorsport have been mad busy getting my car ready to hopefully be ready for this weekends Time Attack round at Croft, last week they were trying to crack on with my car, but also have another two Time Attack cars to prepare as well!! thankfully Mondays test at Croft went well for the other two guys which has now allowed Steven to fully concentrate on the orange one!!
So after a full strip of the front end of the car the damage was revealed, the front end damage has been cut off and in its place a space frame front end has been rebuilt. I have received unbelievable help from some scooby friends who have leant me 2 fmic's, fmoc and a radiator!! Daren at ABW has sorted me all new panels for the front end too.
So Steven and the guys have checked the engine and carried out some repair work to the exterior of the block, carried out a leak down test which showed there ws no damage to internals
phew!! so as you can see from the picture the rebuild has started and we will hopefully make it to Croft on Saturday!!
