I never had the joy of owning a Nova, and now there bloody rare to see!

My mum had a Nova Sport with twin 40's, now that sounded throaty. She used it as a daily work run for 10 years!

One of my friends at school had a Nova that looked like something off Barryboys but had a 2.0 engine conversion with various tweaks and it absolutely shifted.

While I'm on about old Vauxhalls, I remember being done in my dad's Mk1 E55 by a Nova on the M5 outside Bristol, it streaked away. Lord knows what had been done to that

Some pretty impressive cars on these lists. Here is my, not so long, list.

1993 Volvo 460 - bought for £90 with 6 months MoT and tax and only 34k with FVSH. It served me well through uni and taught me a lot about driving (it had no ABS or any driver aids, skinny tyres and an odd penchant for lift-off oversteer).
2004 Mondeo ST220 - Kept it for 4 year, upgrading various bits along the way. Loved the car and did 60k miles in it. Might not have been the fastest but with its Milltek exhaust is made a great noise the the Scooby will never be able to compete with.
1996 Fiesta Ghia X - inhertied this car and ran it alongside the ST220 for a while. Was great town car.
2004 Litchfield Type 20 JDM Impreza STi - bought a few months back. Great car that I'm only just learning to exploit. Crap at carrying mountain bikes though so might be time to get a 2nd car again...
