Don't get hung up on figures guys.
All dynos are different and loaded different by the operator.
As long as your boost and afr traces are correct, that's all that matters.
What brand of dyno was used?

DDs are pretty high spec units. In shoot 44 they're all designed to run the same anyway.
So come on you lot. Get your graphs up.

Who's going to be the first to show their graph then?

Like Frayz said, don't get too hung up on the numbers, I always find the "butt-dyno" more accurate anyway!

I didn't run mine

But all the scoobs had nice smooth curves.

The Silver hawk got a really good run for a standard car. 278bhp I believe

Also the type r civic surprised me

The Scooby with 278 was wider track with ppp wasn't it?
The Civic was surprising and the supra was awesome
The Evo was good as well both was noisy as hell.

God meet and will not be my last, good crowd and thanks for the good welcome.
Mine did 248.3 bhp at 17psi, was expecting above 250 ish but not bad, bit iffy with the tourqe?

Here is my graph, I will be the first to take the abuse!!

Yep, great crowd, everyone was super friendly. Particularly enjoyed the drive home

My graph (torque in particular) has a damn similar curve to yours too!! Happy with my result given my Blob is not a PPP.

242 is good for an 18 year old car that only came with 260

The blobeye output is pretty common for PPP cars tbh, never make the claimed figures.

It's all good

Don't forget we all love the dyno when it over reads nice to see some caution/reality in the numbers once in a while

Thought I'd sign up to say thanks for a good day guys, I'm the one with the civic type r. glad you all had healthy graphs and some stunning scoobs on show.

Must say that supra had an amazing noise and the Evo looked great. Sorry didn't make it down to southend in time before you left I had some prior arrangements.

Noticed a couple of people saying they are surprised with my car, may I ask the reason? I'm just happy it didn't go pop. Only way i was quicker than any of you guys today was being strapped to the dyno

I did some research before the day and eurospec do turn out low numbers on there dyno but its the graph that's the important bit, you could go to ten dynes and get ten different results every time. Although the hawk eye sti got a great result, well done that man

here mine although had issues with it and have to agree there was something not right with dyno today think it might of needed re setting... every car was down on power imo... including the 800bhp at the wheel supra 1016 bhp at fly... although it lost traction n spun the wheels still couldnt get ne where near the power... and my mates evo was down by 40 n bit bhp.. strange...

heres my graph...

Not rude at all buddy. I got 182.1 bhp. Which for a ep3 standard is about right as most of them churn out between 180-185bhp, rare to find one hit its 197bhp claim from honda although my torque worked out 168nm when there 197nm standard :s Either way its the graph I was there for today to see how the engine performed on paper. I will speak to Allan about a rolling road in essex I have heard good things about and see if they can do a session for you guys. ( either TDI south with hub dyno's or the other tuner near purfleet/south ockendon)

The bloke with the supra was savage with his results!

As I said before there reputation leads to say there dyno reads very low though unfortunately

The dyno might have given you a low reading but there was absolutely nothing in it between our cars on the drive home, you certainly weren't down on power through the Dartford Tunnel

Here goes

This was a previous dyno, before i bought the car

AFR? graph

You ll see the previous one is 2bhp more than yesterdays and considering its been mapped and changed a bit something is afoot
Anyhow it seems my engine can rev over 8k

Second one is AFR and boost.

Mapped and holding 1.1 bar? was this what you asked for?

i make you right there, considering mine read just over 30bhp shorter than yours

over the few situations we landed in on the way home, there was literally nothing between us, i startedhallucinating at one point thinking that we werent even moving.

Hats off to you and your car anyway dude, lovely example with some great potential in that thing.

I think it was deemed safe by Duncan at the time of mapping

The AFR doesnt look too bad, looks a little spikey but the range along the side is quite zoomed in. Send them to Duncan for his input if your worried though mate.

30bhp difference in real world on the road conditions won't be much to see, especially if the lower BHP car gets on the power just a second before the other car or if the driver is quicker on the gear change or if it's behind and close it will get the benefit of "drafting" the car in front. So many variables on the road.
