sounds good but what about the people already paid to do that work,

That's exactly what Obama did when the recession hit - community work to earn your benefits but you retain your pride, an income and a work ethic. I'd vote for that

Why do people who live in central London with no job think that's it's acceptable to have children?

Then when they have children expect the taxpayer to pay for them to live in the capital at ludicrous rates!

I'm sorry if you want kids then get a job and move!

"My family all live around here!" So we are expected to pay for you to live close to your relies! WTF!!

When me and my wife started a family we both had jobs or wouldn't of considered it and also had our own house in an area we could afford (obviously I wanted to live closer to my family but you know what?....... we couldn't afford it!)

Why is what we have to work our asses off for is handed out to non achievers as a god given right! Really boils my ***!!

Good point. Maybe it wont lower council tax but I don't know of any town that can say that it's as clean or as well presented as it could be. Those employed to do the work should carry on and perhaps supervise the benefit recipients. Get those who are receiving benefits to wear bright orange jacket (employees wear yellow) so that everyone else knows what they are doing, if they're ashamed it may give them a reality check and who knows they may realise that going out and getting a job may actually be more worth while.

Judging by the majority of the UK cities and the amounts of litter and crud, we need more!

But they will then shout about how demeaning it is and a breach of their human rights!

Read on and pass on!!

Dear Prime Minister The RT. Hon. David Cameron, MP.

I wish to ask you a Question:- "Is This True?"

I refer to the Pension Reality Check.

Are you aware of the following ?

The British Government provides the following financial assistance:-
BRITISH OLD AGED PENSIONER

(bearing in mind they worked hard and paid their Income Tax and

National Insurance contributions to the British Government all their

working life)

Weekly allowance: £106.00?
MMIGRANTS/REFUGEES LIVING IN BRITAIN

(No Income Tax and National Insurance contribution whatsoever)

Weekly allowance: £250.00

BRITISH OLD AGED PENSIONER

Weekly Spouse Allowance: £25.00?
ILLEGAL IMMIGRANTS/REFUGEES LIVING IN BRITAIN

Weekly Spouse Allowance: £225.00

BRITISH OLD AGED PENSIONER

Additional Weekly Hardship Allowance: £0.00?

ILLEGAL IMMIGRANTS/REFUGEES LIVING IN BRITAIN

Additional Weekly Hardship Allowance: £100.00

A British old age pensioner is no less hard up than an illegal

immigrant/refugee yet receives nothing

BRITISH OLD AGED PENSIONER

TOTAL YEARLY BENEFIT £6,000?

ILLEGAL IMMIGRANTS/REFUGEES LIVING IN BRITAIN

TOTAL YEARLY BENEFIT: £29,900

THE FACTS ^^

One born every minute. Does the term "illegal immigrant" not give it away as being total bollocks a little bit?

And if you are a "legal immigrant" and find themselves out of work, do you think they have some form of special super immigrant benefit, or do you think they will go on JSA, just like everyone else?

And you of course KNOW her husband isnt picking up the bills for her house and the car ?
Imagine how well off you,de be if you perhaps payed as much attention to YOUR life as you seem to do to hers ? ...... Or did she reject you?

Actually looking ip the facts ather than trusting an ancient chain mail is a good place to start.

1 , Illegal immigrants are by defintion invisible to the system, and therefore do not get any state benefits whatsoever.

2. Those claiming asylum are not allowed, by law, to work. They are required to live on state provision. There is no fixed sum. it can be as little as £5 per day.

http://www.guardian.co.uk/uk/2009/oc...s-cut-refugees

3. There is no such thing as a "weekly hardship allowance" for asylum seekers, nor do they get a "spouse" allowance. Pensioners do get a couple allowance.

Basic state pension here- of course this may be topped up with the addtional State pension/serps etc

https://www.gov.uk/state-pension

4. If you are a "legal" immigrant. Then you work and pay into the system just like everyone else.

Just out of curiosity have they lived there long ?
I mean there must have been a father at sometime ? Perhaps one of our noble troops that lost his life serving our country in Afghanistan or Iraq maybe ?...............Still that doesnt matter ......any woman with kids that has the dasterdly cheek to expect the country that her husband and childrens father gave his life for to expect some kind (of meager) support for his kids should be what ? Ridiculed? Put to death? You choose !
