I have wondered if Israel have considered using a small nuclear weapon to take out Iran's programme rather than those heavyweight bombs which might not penetrate Iran's deep underground facilities. I hope not. dl

That would be pretty ironic though wouldn't it?

I suspect Armadinnerjacket is quite an intelligent chap despite what others lead us to believe.

Therefore, he knows that if he 'wipes Israel off the face of the earth' he also wipes out Iran - the US wouldn't let him get away with that without retaliation.

Fascinating. Look at the photo of the car and how the bonnet and front end are quite intact, yet the interior is totally oblitorated. Even the headlights are okay.

That is the misquote of the century by the way but he is a fruitcake nonetheless.

As for the Hamas, leader being taken out and Israel provoking war...well they didn't provoke anything, they simply carried out what they have wanted to do all long, the acquisition of land.

Defending Israeli's occupying land that was taken by force isn't exactly putting Israel in good light, they are and will be an aggressive paranoid nation that is hell bent on controlling every single inch of space because of their past.

On the other side of the wall you have Hamas, who don't give a crap about their people, only interested in fueling their political ideologies and their on going war with the Israeli regime.

What they (the Israeli government) did was to stoke an already lit fire, because they want the reactionaries to lash out, with sticks and stones...and rockets so they can disproportionately react to any such events with an aggressive military response.

I am genuinely worried for the Palestinian people and the Israelis (the Muslim, Christian and Jews who make up Israel...contrary to what you are told).

RIP Rachel Corrie (and all those that try to stop this very thing from occurring).

A mis-quote?

You know he's a fruitcake how, exactly?

Saw it on the news?
Read it in the Daily Fail?

For all we know he may WANT us all to think he's a nutter!
Keep everyone running scared.

I can't see it, they blow up hamas boss to achieve what ???

As far as I can see it's an excuse to fire everything they've got at Palestine when there's an enviable increase in hamas activity

Just lame really

If your next door neighbour lobbed something at you a few times every day for a year, would you sit back and take it?

I wouldn't be squatting in his house and building stuff on his land whilst forcing him to live in a corner of the garden.

The fact they let them get away with it at all is implicit acknowledgement there is a problem - but we all know who would win if all resources were to be used

Using that logic and depending on how far back you go and what you believe - guess what?

What is says to me is how restrained the Israelis are in dealing with the situation. Assuming the Israelis "would win if all resources were to be used" does that not tell you something?

I look forward to both your replies.

You don't have to go far back at all. Zionists occupying Palestinian territory and flouting UN regulations to this day regarding illegal stettlements. Zioinists inviting fellow zioinists from all over the world to settle on land stolen from Palestinians. This kind of policy is hardly going to endear the Israelis to those they're persecuting.

Guess what? Going back to the 1940's is only the tip of the iceberg. The questions are, how far back do you go and what do you read into the historical records?

As an aside, do you think that the USA ,Canada,Australia,New Zealand,South Africa,Great Britain and countless other nations should return their land to the respective indigenous people?

Not strange at all. Einstein was a jew but not a zionist.
That is a picture of a red herring in post 48.

Still waiting for your opinion of this question.

A red herring? Okay, if you say so. Can you tell me the significance of this picture in relation to my post as I cannot see your point.

How many countries has Iran ever invaded or attacked?

I would say it is shocking to see how stupid Britian and its people have become but sadly I am not.

Resorting to insults now. Yet you accuse me of being rude.

Besides you're the one being obtuse.

With the number of kids Hamas are using as human shields it shouldn't take long.
