It felt exactly like what you see on the graph to be fair, bit less at the bottom, but more at the top, it's what happens when you fit a larger turbo.
As it happens, we're swapping a Billet T for a Billet V at the moment on a 2.5 equipped car. Just waiting on it's gearbox rebuild and we can get cracking.
how's this coming along martyn ?

All mapped and awaiting collection, so I'll not post the graphs yet !

It did what I expected to be honest, makes the same on VPower as it used to on meth and added 50bhp to the top of that with the meth map. So 515bhp and 522lbft were the final figures, which considering we didn't go mad with the boost (1.7 bar) isn't at all shabby.
Annoyingly we lost the older graph in a computer glitch we had a while back so that is lost, otherwise we'd have been able to compare spool etc.
It goes very well as you'd expect from a 500hp Classic and certainly doesn't lack response.

The only down side of this (bare in mind this is just my personal opinion and you can take that as you will) is that like some other after market turbos I've seen over the years, you can't run low boost at WOT at all. The turbine is aimed at high power and not enough care and attention has been paid to getting it to work at both ends.
I'd like to be able to run a turbo at 1 bar should I feel the need and some owners agree that it's nice to be able to have a low boost map too.
It may be that with substantial porting this may be relieved, but if so it would be nice if this were done prior to the turbo being fitted.

I couldnt agree more Martyn, it always nice to be able to run low boost without the creep catching up with you..

But having said tht it does feel amazing in all honesty not really had chance to feel the comparison on the road yet due to bad weather and no mot or tax..

But i will put a comment on once ive had a good 300 miles of fun init

Thanks to the lads at ET ure fab and have a great new year.. i will be in touch Martyn i did like tht 2.1 dyno in reception.. very tempted to go tht route... i suppose just gota shift my 2.5 motor first
