He had perpetual trouble with stalling and cutting out and no luck with it and lost confidence. Am sure yours will find a good home after you looking after it so well.
Hard to prejudge by make but every Honda owned by me has been superb but no doubt somebody else has had a dud - rather like the Legacy I bought for this winter!

Yes it's a possibility but all cars have their faults, some worse than others, and it's a £500 fix, you can also get one thats already had the HG replaced, but if you already had a bad experience then i can understand your reluctance.
I still think they are a great car for the money, failing that i'd go for a civic but they are more money, as said above avoid french cars.

Some maybe, but Peugeot's have been the most reliable car I've owned. Had 4 now and the only "interesting" one was a 22 year old 205GTi so to be expected.
Had 106's, 406's petrol and diesel and hand on heart would buy again for runabout purposes
