My dad had one of these fitted and had just produced 450 on a classic.

I still have mine but it's not fitted yet.

I can get 450 out of my standard TMIC so you're not filling me full of confidence

I've spoken to Bob, should be ok.

450 on a standard top mount, you did do well.

They're an awesome bit of kit as you can see on my earlier photos.

Let us all know how you get on.

ATWRX: The job of an intercooler is to cool the air going from the turbo to the engine. A intercooler doesn't produce X bhp. It can only produce what the rest of the setup is good for (ie if you have a turbo capable of flowing enough air for 450bhp, then a intercooler no matter how good, won't push that figure up to 550bhp).

550bhp has been done on the smaller newage cooler, but why not fit the classic core which is far larger seeing as you are using custom pipework anyhow?

I know that mate, but you can only flow a certain amount of air through a certain sized core, you can't produce 1000 bhp through a TMIC, no matter how good your setup is as there just isn't enough volume to flow the air, hence the reason I was asking what power has been proved with these cores. More what the flow rate of them is.

I would go for one, but my business comes first and I'm glad I held off as I've just had to pay out ALL of my money for a job, quite literally left with nothing for a few days until (hopefully) my client pays up.
