Lol, I am looking forward to when I dont have to spend loads of money on impreza parts

I will class this project as 'finished' when I have it back in my garage, the engine is in, mapped and running, and I have got bucket seats and a harness bar in.

Thats my goal, then I'll just spend money on petrol

Hi Frayz

In short the engine needs to be dressed with injectors, fuel rails, rotated kit fitted and turbo fitted etc. I have pretty much got all of the pieces of the puzzle ready to go, we're just waiting for the clutch to be delivered which should be mid Jan, then it's all systems go.

Other jobs include getting the intercooler pipework powder coated, going to do the strut braces and arb's as well. DCCD ecu needs wiring in, the ecu is all wired up with all sensors, avcs, ffs and aircraft switches.

New coilovers should also be landing sometime in January, planning on letting chevron do their magic once its up and running.

So that little lot, then get it MOT'd, taxed and insured and running in map installed.

Fuel system, I'm planning on a twin 044 set up with a swirl pot and using my walbro as a lift pump. Current plan is to use the walbro initially for running in and get the fuel system sorted during the running in period, main reason for this at the moment is cost, but we'll see how that goes. Any advice on AN fittings appreciated as I'm not sure what size I should be looking at, swirl pot and pumps will be boot mounted.

So speaking through this with Dave we're thinking that February is still possible, the main thing delaying it will be the cost of the tax/insurance and the labour bill all coming at once so may have to spread that out over a couple of months.

Appreciate my thread has just been pictures of a big shopping list for a while but hopefully that's all about to change

Ian, they should be an6 as an8. If I recall, bottom pump and one of the swirl pot outlets are an8 and the rest are an6. I would STRONGLEY RECOMMEND Torques on eBay. They are far the best in my experience. When I first started my swirl pot system, I tried several different companies and most of them leaked.

Double 044 that's gonna be something

That's a nice piece of kit. The second picture shows the feed to the pump and I'm sure that's an8 as the bottom fitting from your swirl pot will be an8. Everything else will be an6.

I think it's Alex at torques. eBay message him, helpful guy

You're making me wanna do a twin 44 now

This is pretty much the swirl pot I've got:

http://item.mobileweb.ebay.co.uk/vie...d=380793208402

The bottom fitting is an8 which goes to the feed/bottom of the pump

It's also worth getting a lot of the parts from the same place. As it will be a pretty big order you could ask for a cheeky discount
