So we now have the rear roof spoiler mounted,Frayz engineering inner wing box cut in and painted silver and the boonet catches Iain sent down down are now mounted which was a bit of a ball ache to fit as Iain wanted them behind the headlights and the front panel isn't flat there due to the headlight shape so we made a little bracket to mount the lugg on.
Just need to wait for the bonding to go off on the wire mesh in the bumper opening and repaint the top section of the front panel and she is complete.

I've been thinking the same but then I'd have to cut it to fit my FMIC pipework

Watching the F1 qualifying has got me thinking I might leave that bit of wooden baton on the front bumper, afterall the F1 cars have a plank of wood under their car!

Yes that's me and my car, I helped you push your car if you can't remember me and have a Welsh accent - there aren't too many people with Welsh accents up in Hillbilly country who haven't been skinned or cooked up in a pot.

So getting a few bits sorted, fuel filter on order, oil coolr will be coming along soon and got the last of the wiring sorted with thanks to Tim at JTi for his help.

I know I've said it before but getting there slowly is the phrase!

Next its more big items to get such as the clutch, turbo and rotated kit, then we can get the engine down and start getting it all together

So while we are in the process of changing gearboxes and the rear drivetrain on the car, I thought it a good idea to upgrade some of the bushes at this point.

So I spoke to Alyn at AS Perfomance and ordered whiteline poly bushes for the rear trailing arms, outrigger diff mounts and also upgraded nylon bushes for the 6 speed linkage.

Hoping these will be a nice addition to the overall package.
