No it won't be mapped till I get the fuel lines thoroughly checked and replaced if reqd.

Waiting on some new methanol fuel hose to arrive. Was supposed to be in today but it didn't show.
Car is ready for mapping and sat at engine tuner with 10ltrs of meth on the passenger seat..... getting excited now!

Mapping was started yesterday, at 1.6 bar of boost martyn reckoned 470ish hp.
But we have maxxed the injectors out now and also the spark is been blown out so that was with a misfire etc. Or that's the way I understand it!
I am happy though martyn reckons it revs like a scalded cat! All the way to 8.5k

Ayy? What injectors? Surely u had bigger ones when u had 530+?

Yes, I think they are 840s. Need 1000s for this one by the looks of it, maxxed them out at 1.6 bar. Coupled with the misfire held it back.
Ordered jti loom for coil on plug conversion and some uprated coils too last night

Newage coil pack loom will be with engine tuner tomorrow.
Uprated coil packs ordered this afternoon.
Injectors will be ordered tomorrow.
Moving on slowly....

Near as makes no difference 500 on pump fuel, 497 possibly? I was driving when martyn told me!
But that was only at 1.6 bar.... and held until 8.5k

Definitely. Mine made 498 on 1.8bar befre the headers gave in lol. What u hoping for on meth?

Don't know to be honest. At 1 bar with no ignition etc it was doing 400. So adding .6 bar gave us 100 hp. So should see another good lick of power with meth and more boost....

Meth map is going to be on a few weeks time when martyn has a bit more time.
Scared myself in it today, it is crazy fast and the response of the turbo is unreal.... drives like a td04

Not bad for my 2nd rUn of the day.
Cold track, manual launch, no flat foot shifting.....
I am certain my last run of the day was a 10, the launch was perfect, gripped from the go and was like a scalded cat. Then I hit 2nd gear and BANG. No drive and it all stopped!
Assumed clutch or input shaft as it was making some very strange noises.
When it had cooled a bit it started been able to move under its own power. Looks to be a broken drive shaft, so it definitely hooked up well! Drove it home at 3 5mph all the way down the motorway lol.
What a trooper....
