Well done J
Glad to hear it's just faulty gauge after the hard work you put in
Time for some fun my friend!
That's some good going from that turbo, looking forward to the next upgrade

Thanks Banny and Craig, I really appreciate it. Hard work does pay off in the end. I have a couple of oil leaks to look at when I get her home hopefully nothing major, I know the rocker cover is one of them.
I'm hoping to be on the plus side of 550 with the methanol in tomorrow. I'll be leaving the van at my work place and getting a lift up to engine tuner to pick up the car this afternoon, the sun is shining and the road over the moors is looking good for a shake down run!
Exciting times, can't believe I cracked 500 on pump fuel with no cams or head work, seriously chuffed!

Thanks for the kind words guys.
Won't be running meth tomorrow as I have one can full of jenny chem stuff and one of unknown origins and it isn't worth the risk!
So I may put 5ltrs in and run it on the road map or just not run any of it! It still has plenty of poke on low power
I showed a SL55 amg a clean set of heels earlier, it made me quite happy to say the least!

Weather doesn't look too good for tomoz. Always York Raceway Sunday!
J can you feel the turbo kick in or is the power delivery just smooth whilst brutal?

This one is a lot smoother than the last turbo, but once you hit full bost you best just hold on and hope for the best lol!

Is that on straight 99?
The only difference is you have cams and head work! I am all on standard heads
so should see a great improvment if I fitted some BC cams etc!

That's how I got on
That is without the launch control working, road tyres and on pump fuel only I didn't have any meth in the tank....
There is a 10 in her, that's a fact
Martyn did a 10.03 and he wasn't running his NOS either. He could have cracked a 9 but he wouldn't have had enough run off room to stop with the nos!

Thanks mate! Really impressed with the car.
Launch control wasn't working all day, fixed the issue and went to do a run just as the heavens opened so rain closed play!
I would have nailed 2nd place if I had got that run in, the starts let me down most of the day, I just couldn't get it hooked up right.
There is always next time! And if it comes to it I'll throw some meth in to make sure I get it

Yes Micky, it will get there in the end, can't allow for the weather, I was annoyed at the time but **** happens! I'll let matey in his evo have it this time, it won't happen again though
You should have come said hello gaz! When did you see it run? I was really struggling with my launches from 1230 on....

The project section is one of the best things about Scoobynet.
My problem is i have very little knowledge when it comes to using spanners on a Subaru
If i wore a hat i would take it off to you boys who can use them.
