I'm not trying to put your car down in any way Daz, merely pointing out to you that from the engine bay pic, it looks like it has had a new wing painted & fitted.

Where the wing is bolted on is different to what it should be.

As I said, looks a cracking car.

They are both like that, it is where the front end was painted completely to remove stonechips!

Well spotted though!

Even better, a JDM blob with no stone chips on it, perfect car IMO.

If I were to have another Subaru, it would probably be something along these lines Daz..

When I first went from classic to newage I said it was a great decision too, but as time went on I realised It was a bit like going from a fit milf to a young less attractive chubby who is a bit clumsy and slow going back in a classic now!

Mind you, it would have been worse if you had plumped for the ladyboy Evo

A very nice replacement.

I was looking forward to see the blue classic project finished though.

Great comparison..

JDM blobs are not your normal newage though, but I do see where you are coming from.

You're not getting off that easily. . So answer the question!!! other than a different front end and the dbw system how does a Jdm hawkeye differ from a Jdm widetrack blob? Lets forget about the horrible chavvy rear lights on the hawk too :P

I may be wrong but I thought the JDM Hawkeyes used throttle cables?

Anyway both are good cars, it's just that the Blobeye is better.

**** me mate. If you were born a triplet YOU would have been the one bottle fed !

I'm not suggesting for one minute it's the case here but an awful lot of new owners have had failings very soon after selling up and buying another Scooby. It's all I read lately.

I can't comment on a JDM blob , i've just drawn my conclusions from daily and fast road driving a JDM Hawkeye with type20 kit (LM handling + power package) and also a well spec'd bug sti running just over 380bhp.

I am only comparing against my current (fettled) car and not every classic out there BTW

To be fair it's something I was considering doing anyway but I couldnt be arsed to go through the hassle of taking the turbo off to do it. Now my hands been forced I have to do it so I'm upgrading to an LM450 Billet. Will be good to compare the two.
