Hence to poping and wheezing, I have to say I like that bit, apparently if you get the exhaust manifold hot enough, i.e. a track day, you can get flames out back.

With a good induction and VTA BOV you get a nice wastegate chatter as well as all this, the rally car sound!!!, do on mine anyhow, although its roumered the guy before me had a hybrid as well as being an STi and I've fitted a Blitz Boost controller, not to increase to boost but to increase the gain so it spools up quicker

Is the Bailey Motorsports DV26 the best one to go for ? MY00. I'm a little confused here, I simply would like to hear the dump valve, but not frighten old people

Has anyone got one of these ? And what are they like ?

Cheers Phill C

Incidently, i've got a bailey VTA DV and i have to say that i've never had any probs with idling etc. I would however like to get some pops and bangs but i guess i need to sort the exhaust for that... Doh!!

I do think that it has got a bit quite lately, don't know if i'm just getting used to it or what?!?!

Dumpvalves do nothing for performance! fact!
the recirc one thats on your car is up to the job, the only reason really to replace it with any other is either you want some noise (atmospheric one) or the one thats on is knackered.
Also take into consideration that there is probably a good reason that scoobs have a recirc dv over an atmospheric one (and the sound can get annoying after a while).

Tony

PS, will it invalidate your warranty fitting an after market dv? id have thought so.
