9/12 Apple Day

Does it really surprise you that the gutter press are picking up on negatives? I welcome the change, Apple did us proud keeping the old dock connector going for so many years, but times change and there's no denying the new connector is an upgrade. This will be the item that everyone who doesn't own the device and never intends on buying the device moans about.
you must have plenty of cash to replace all your items at hundreds of £ without worrying about it.

I do have plenty of cash thanks. But I won't be spending much to tune up my old style connectors to the new style. Peanuts in fact. And think of the saving I'm going to make being able to use the Micro USB cables I have lying around. Thanks Apple.

So will iOS6 allow you to download maps so it doesn't suck data? One thing I always found really useful with Nokia Maps and Nav, you could dl the map so if you were going abroad it didn't cripple you financially by sucking down data to do it.....?

Probably not. I too keep my Nokia solely for the maps. There is however an App for that.

Why don't you buy one this year? You seem intent to keep on pissing your money up the wall.
Also, why do you have such a chip on your shoulder just because not all people like Apple.
Even I said today that I quite like the look of the new iPhone, but you will continue to throw insults which give the impression of you being a spoilt little school boy.
You seem intent on deliberately trying to wind up pretty much everyone who either doesn't like or doesn't own an iPhone.
Do you have an inferiority complex? Does everyone have to agree with to make you feel justified on the purchase decisions you make.
You say that you enjoy winding people up on here. Why? What is in it for you?
In fact all you do for me is add a touch of humour to this forum.
But not in the way you think.

Gear Head. Have a read of this thread. I've done nothing but give positive feedback, I don't have a chip on my shoulder, what I have is a bunch of fools on here with nothing better to do than get annoyed at my positivity. You buy what you like, do what you like, but if you don't like Apple products why post on a pro Apple thread about how good your Samsung is, nuts!!
I don't enjoy winding people up on here, I enjoy posting and watching people get wound up over nothing.
Jon, yes, still no Flash, when's the next update coming out for Android... oh that's right... never.

What are you going to do? You'll be forced to use the fantastic HTML5 like the rest of us. Unfortunately Apps like iPlayer on Android rely on Flash so you're scuppered there. Also, Flash security updates come out almost weekly, what are you going to do?

"Flash Player continues to be available on Google Play for users in the UK for a short while due to requests from strategic partners. It is expected to be removed soon," Adobe told The INQUIRER.

I really don't think companies will not offer video in a format that can be viewed by all devices.
Are you telling me that we should have an iPhone just to watch **** now?

No, no, what I'm telling Jon is that his ***** waving 'Flash' exclamations are silly as it's all but dead as a technology. He should be embracing alternatives, iOS users have managed just fine without it, not sure Android will.

The point is I use HTML5 AND Flash when HTML5 can't provide the content without having to resort to using an itty bitty app and switch back to my browser. Android provides a seemless desktop like browsing experience, unlike iOS.
So back to your point, no iOS 6 doesn't provide everything.

When did I say iOS provided everything? I'm about to switch to OSX to watch some Breaking Bad whilst in the bath, I could use iOS to do the same, iCloud is a wonderful gift, but the MacBook screen is just incredible, anti glare wins.
