Do these hold the bonnet in place when working under it? IE does this mean you can remove the original bonnet hook?

Yes indeed ... They hold the bonnet up so no need for the long
Bar hook thing..

Do these come with longer bolts poor the bonnet ,as I recently bought a set from eBay and when you remove the bonnet bolt and fit the bracket ,the original bolt only catches 1 thread and doesn't hold the bracket secure.....

The original bolts are used I have a set fitted to my type r and also have sold
A few sets that have had no issues where u seem to be have problems
