Hello Scoobynet from Bimmerforums!

Our USA based posters really want to show support for the event, but many of us cannot make the trip across the pond, so those of you that use Twitter, we have been taking pictures with signs, or personalized Tweets with hashtag #carsforconnor and we encourage the rest of you to do the same, or just check out the hash tag on twitter to amass the photos.

Yes that's fine as long as they are individually numbered.

If you have added individually in other thread then you don't need to add in here, this is just for people that can't be arsed writing every member of clubs names and instead they put plus 10 etc at the sides of their name which is why I made this.

If so i'll add his name in the other thread.

D11aks your 10 cars have been put in this thread if you read the club lists, you cannot put your name plus 10 cars in other thread it just complicates things.
So if you see in this club lists above rs owners^^^^^^ then your ok don't worry.

Fao marshalls - i have just got 25 highvis jackets (good ones as well, brand new - thank god for b&q trade cards). I will get to the meet early so you can collect them off me, i will be in a gold mondeo estate so should be easy to spot

I was not sure if we would have 25 marshals or not but figured its better to have too many than too few

That's excellent mate, nice one.
We could do with as many marshalls as poss being 20 the minimum I would of thought with the numbers turning up to get 2-3 car parking orders going on at the same time to avoid traffic hold ups.

BTw im not bothered for the hig-vis's back after the meet so the marshalls may as well keep them (alwasy handy to have one in the car)

Like i said i will be there at around 12 and will have them in the boot of my car - If you want to be a marshal its better to get to the meet around 12:00-12:30 so you can get an idea of the location and how it is all layed out - the main thing is as Busta said getting people parked

Id suggest that marshalls arrive a good deal earlier, because we need a marchalls briefing and we need to be ready before cars start arriving.

Unfortunately we cant control the time that the cars actually arrive. If they arrive before we are ready to direct them then everything will be f*cked into a cocked hat.

Marchalls also need to tell every car not to mentions Connors illness, as he doesnt necessarily know as much as them and it has to stay that way.

The benefit of this is dwarfed by the negative impact that an unguarded remark will make.

Right guys I would suggest to all marshalls to arrive by 10-10.30am.
I was not going to be able to make it till late afternoon as last minute wedding plans, but seems like I'm going to be needed so had a word with missus and she is going to sort the wedding stuff out with her mum. So I will be there for the time above. I have kind of a plan with parking by doing 2 contrail flows at the same time as I've been up to site, and I'll do the briefing then and everyone knows what's what.
P.s my missus was going to come but with doing stuff in the daytime she will be knackered with being pregnant aswell, she will get tired stood up all day.
So see you guys there on the day.
If any of you or the marshalls/volunteers need my phone number then pm me and I'll give it.

Thanks corky
