Hi, just seen this on 300zx.co.UK.
my heart goes out to you and your family at such an upsetting time, I've registered to say I have a 350z I can bring along....? It's not modified or anything but something different maybe?

I am ever so sorry to hear this zippy. Truely upsetting brought a tear to my eye. Our heart and thoughts go out to you and your family at this very difficult time. I have shared this on the car forums I'm on hoping to get as many cars to attend and give your little boy the day of his life

zippy old pal, although I wont be able to attend the day, I have donated a small amount to contribute towards the funds so you can spoil your boy! I hope the day works out well for you, your family and most importantly him on his first car show

hi all i cant believe im about to say this but here goes 
i have just been informed that my 11 year old son has around 4 weeks to live for those who dont know he had leukeamia aged 2 and beat it then last year we had the devastating news that he had a cancerous brain tumor they operated and removed it and we thought all was well until friday when we were given the news it had returned in 2 places and there is nothing more they can do to help him

Being a father of two car crazy kids myself I cannot think of a better way for you to give your lad a day to remember than to surround him in what he loves with the people that he loves and is loved by.
I cannot attend unfortunately due to other commitments on the day however I have written an email to several car mags including TopGear to see if they can offer any help for the day.
Hope this small gesture goes a long way to putting a smile on his face.

This is really kicking off on facebook and looking at the venue I really dont think its big enough.. We have over 5,000 invited so far and the events only been on facebook less than an hr.. People are attending from all over the UK..

Hi Zippy so so sorry for what you and your family are going threw its a terrible thing to happen to any parent (I'm a parent to a 4 year old) and even tho i don't know you my thoughts are with you all at this time , Ive been shown this on my facebook by a member on here (don't know his name) and even tho i haven't a scooby Ive posted it on VVOC and passed it around facebook so all my friends can see it , a lot of them are in a number of car clubs so hope fully there should be a good number of modified cars also attending you all to give zippys son the best night he can possibly have , Stewart

Perhaps it is worth a call to Huddersfield council to see if they are alright for the meet to use a multi-story or something like that OR even galpharm stadium's overflow car park

I am absolutely speechless. Unfortunately I don't have a sports car at all. I live in London and drive a BMW X6. I know in no shape or form does it fit requirement but if you think that would in any way add to your sons special day, I'm there

I think we should wait for zippy to come on and see the outcome of this first so it can sink in that it's gone viral, I know everyone wants to show their respect and come along but he may want to put a limit on the cars that come as its going crazy at the mo, and I don't think the venue he has chosen will suit the event unless a different and bigger venue is chosen.
