Only just seen this, I'm in China but home this week. I was dehydrated with the heat but reading all this, well its now due to tears. My heart goes out to Zippy and his family at this tragic time and also the people trying to help and support them through this time of real hurt and pain. All the problems i have or thought I had are just so insignificant because the idea a young man can only lead such a short life is mind numbing. I know as a father that if I had, or ever have such news, that no words would not be able to describe the grief. So if a few cars can help brighten his day next week count me in as one of them. I'll put my name down on Snet and Paypal will follow.

I read about this on jalopnik. I will be flying out to the UK from the US from the 4th thru the 14th, and would love to make it out to this. I will be in Ashington for work, is anyone coming down from that area on that Saturday that I could possibly ride down with? I wish I could come out with one of my own Subarus, but alas I don't think United Airlines has a carryon price for cars.

I use to work with someone who claimed to use the info mentioned on that site to help many friends and strangers as a philanthropist and he said he never lost a patient. I don't have any solid proof if it works but I'm always optimistic. Perhaps its the miracle you need, I cant say for sure but apparently eating dry apricot seeds is the key.
He told me a story of a patient he saved that was in a similar condition to your son who also had a few weeks left...

i have just been informed that my 11 year old son has around 4 weeks to live for those who dont know he had leukeamia aged 2 and beat it then last year we had the devastating news that he had a cancerous brain tumor they operated and removed it and we thought all was well until friday when we were given the news it had returned in 2 places and there is nothing more they can do to help him 
as you can imagine we are totally devastated and have to try to make the most of our time left with our little boy so heres where i hope you can all help me i promised him a few weeks ago before i found out about this that i would take him to a car gathering as he is a massive fan of sports/modified cars mainly subaru,s evo,s etc but i cannot find one so i thought i would try arrange one just for him so i can keep that promise!
i have arranged with FRED LAWTON LTD MELTHAM MILLS INDUSTRIAL ESTATE, MELTHAM HUDDERSFIELD,HD9 4AY to be able to use there car park for the gathering which i would like to hold on saturday the 8th of september starting from 1 pm. everybody and every type of car is welcome so please please please come if you
can make it and make my little boys day a special one thank you all in advance and please put your name down on your posts to this thread so i can get an idea of numbers.

Hi, First of all, I am very sorry to hear this :-( I have shared this on my personal Facebook page, and also on my work's page. I work for a company in the UK, and we manufacture data logging equipment for the racing industry. Therefore, lots of our customers have lots of cool racing cars. I'll also bring the camera along next weekend and try to get the images to some local press, try to raise the profile of the event.
