Better news then mate, it is stepping into unknown terriotry when changing the gearbox and transmission and was one of the things I was worried about most, looks like I only need to change a wheel bearing or two.

Annoying but could have been a lot worse!

Gutted for you, too many launches lunched the clutch

You could always write to the manufacturer, especially if you can prove it's only done 5000 miles, and they may come up trumps - no harm in trying.

A pair of driveshafts are on there way from Matty.Ryan has ordered a set of rear bearings.
A gear surround is on its way also.

picked the car up all jobs done excellent work as usual from Ryan.Spraying the centre console and air vents matt black was a stroke of genius,he also did the the metal gear surround black but left the fixing screws silver.it adds a nice touch to the interior.
i will take some pics later if we get any sunshine.
The 6 speed box takes a bit of getting used to,as i said earlier the ASP bush kit is well worth fitting

Hmm curious to see what the black vents look like

Six speed box is a little odd at first. You'll soon get used to it though

Nice one Dave, glad to hear you're back on the road.

Ryan did my vent rings, gear surround etc the same in matt black it really improves the interior look as the silver finish does look more than a little naff on the newage models.

Had the wheels off today to give them and the calipers a good clean.
There were some brakedust deposits that wouldnt budge no matter what i tried.
Gave the engine bay a good polish as well.

slight blow from exhaust centre section.Had a new gasket fitted a couple of weeks ago but the problem has come back.
Ryan advises replace the centre section with a Milltek one.
I cant find a 2.5 Milltek centre section,is there such a thing?
