Not planned anything - but its a trip I always fancied doing.....not sure how practicable it is at present though. When are you going?
Hoping to go at the back end of August early September especially with the threat of the ring going bankrupt last thing I want to do is wait until next year only for the prices to go up or closure of the ring.

I have always fancied Nurburgring - was invited on a trip there a few years back and always regretted not going. Would also like to see what the CS can do on the Autobahns!!!
Mike same thing happened to me when I planned to go last year and missed the opportunity and really regretted it.
Would be a great trip to go on especially with a fellow snetter and a cosy can get some decent snaps.
Just read through the thread and your profile and realised who you are. I live on Kentwood hill and drive the silver blob wrx. I was telling my mate last week that I had seen you in a wr1 a few weeks back after not seeing your hawk around for a while.
Hope you're enjoying the cs400, you'll have to come along to one of our Sunday meets and give us a look at her
Jamie
Hello mate,
Yeah, sold the JDM after 2 1/2 years, got the second WR1 and then the deal for the CS400 arrived. Let me know when / where you meet, would love to hook up.
I find that i'm constantly being burnt off by 80's vehicles - but i'm coming to terms with it - especially annoying when i'm trying to get a jump out of the Aldi car park, laiden with 'like brands, but cheaper' but I guess I will just have to learn to live with my inferiority.
Your not joking....while I am running it in the paper boy over took me
Where did you get the back bumper protector? How much? Would love one on mine to stop the golf clubs marking etc.....
Cheers
Jim
Got it fitted when I got the car - so Crossroads in Shipston - along wth the dog guard and bootliner. The dog has a habit of jumping onto the bumper, so it saves it getting trashed!

I have just ordered the boot liner with the covers for the back seats. Worth doing I think
There are some 'make your own' instructions knocking around that other people have done, but I'm not brave enough.
However, I won't pay Subaru £595 for the kit.
But in my opinion you are not just buying a few "extras", you are buying an iconic elite member of car. Remember this is a factory standard car, so you could argue you could buy a brand new 330S and spend £15k on mods to get to the same performance. But you kiss your warranty good bye and pay through the nose for insurance. This car was £150 less to insurance than my WR1 and £750 less than my version 10 JDM which has £20k spent in mods. Plus I have three years worry free motoring as I still have the warrenty.
Apols if someone else has already mentioned this you can get a Jap STi and spend a few £k on mods to get 400hp. This is the crux of the price tag issue that some of us had when the Cosworth version was up for £50k. You have a great car there of course (it's 400hp after all so what's not to like!), just paid OTT for 400 horses imho.
Suspect he is trying to get a few quid back on what I got originally

this is a very nice hatch, did any of you consider one ?
Nice car, but for the additional £££ that I paid, I got a car 3 1/2 years newer, delivery mileage, No MOT for three years, 3 years warrenty, cheaper insurance, years tracker, tax and one of only 75 ever made......no brainer
