+1000 Hollywood run out of ideas every other film is a remake. Sad when they now they remake films barely 10 or 20 years old. Sadder that people pay to see them hence why they keep doing it.
I'm not even sure that it's a case of having run out of ideas. More like laziness/making a quick buck by re-hashing a popular movie or squeezing it dry with all the sequels/prequels. Gets on my ****. And don't get me started on the quality.......
Only decent remake I can see coming is the Judge Dredd remake.
The new film is more like the original comics - Dark and violent, unlike the crap that Stallone brought up which was deliberately made the way it was purely to get people into the cinema instead of staying true to the comic.

The original robocop is one of my fav films, absolutely no need for a remake. They should plow some money into remastering the original as the dvd and bluray versions are awful looking.
