Thanks for all the comments.
I would have replied sooner but been at Goodwood all day, It was amazing seeing some of these models in real life. I ended up coming back with another 5 diecasts though, lol
It's to hard to pick 1 favorite. I'm also a big ford fan and i love all rally, touring and super cars the finer the detail the better, some of these cars are a work of art. If i had to pick 4 favorites off the top of my head i'd go for the 4 i can see now in my frontroom which aren't in the pics, 1/12 gt40, 1/18 Texaco rs500, 1/12 F40, 1/12 Mclaren f1.
They get dusted once a year, it takes a full day but i do enjoy it. The room has a dust extractor which helps alot. We have kept all of the boxes which are in the loft.
The rate the collection is growing isn't slowing down either and always lots of cars on backorder/preorder.
I'd hate to sit down and workout exactly how much we spent over the years, but roughly 800 x 70 i guess and yes insured separately.
Hope this answers the questions.
Ill get some better pics up soon when there are a few more and when i have arranged them and spaced them out properly, and have a better camara.

Yeah for the time being. Type r is sitting in the garage having a rest. Il get it back on the road soon, it needs a bit of fb tuning tlc first though.

It's not the only one! Mine has been in my garage for months and I'm just getting it back together now and it'll be down to Rich for a map tweak once the new bits are all sorted
Time to up the boost I hope

Love the large green XJ220. Always wanted that one. Is it the one that was around £300 back in the day?

I've about 15 1:18 cars, I always wanted a 22B but they command about £150-200.
Think the most I paid was around £60 for an EVO VI.
Ironically there are 3 STi's in my collection.
I regret not keeping the boxes but I don't intend on selling any of them.

Yeah they were, can pick up a 1/12 XJ220 for about £75 now.
