Wicklow is a lovely place and not far from Dublin, 30 - 40 minutes
If you're a motorsport fan - the Donegal Rally is on this weekend
Its a bit of a trek from Dublin though - but on the plus side, you'll see some lovely scenery on the way.
Hurling is quite simply nuts at Mus described.
If you like a drink, then try a Guinness while visiting the factory.
Its nothing like that muck they serve up on the mainland
By the way - Dublin is still stupidly expensive and they still fail to understand that their economy is fcuked

However, just by feeding them free curry, don't expect them to change their views about you or Islam. As soon as they smell that Muslim women are eating Eid feast in a different room, they'll get their goats bleating. I have an idea for you. if they debate on that seggragation issue with you, just tell them that its like a boyz' nightout, innit? Okay, there aren't any strippers, lapdancers, p!ssed-up wimmins is short skirts and alcohol on the menu, but its still a bit like when you go to catch the fish British style with da ladz without your missises around yer necks, and by mistake you forget the crate of beer back home. I suggest you get the guests a bit va-va-voom on a hard core sheesha toke, job done. 
I'm sure they'll enjoy it. I'm not bothered about what rd means, but what the hell is gs, man?
