Guess they were right!
£24M for an injury prone 29 year old, but a great goal scorer?
Good deal or Not? I'm not sure.

just seen it confirmed, should take the burden off Rooney a bit so we might see his best coming out again.

There has always been this thing with Arsenal where their players get injured easily and question marks have been raised over their training methods as a reason behind this.
Hopefuly the United medical team will keep him fit, look at all those hammies Giggsy used to pull, you never see him get them now, all down to the medical team imho.
Looking forward to the game tonight

Tight one nil loss as opposed to a 3 nil battering (with a new manager aswell). Not that much of a bitch.

"Midfielder Michael Carrick was used as an emergency centre-back for the visitors, while Antonio Valencia was deployed at right-back"

Cant see YT at work, that's probably a good thing
One thing I noticed last night was the lack of an enforcer in midfield, something we haven't had since Keano's day. Fellaini ran the midfield last night even though he tackles like Paul Scholes LOL we need a player of this ilk, too many fancy dans in midfield last night.
Kagawa looked very impressive, a lovely passer of the ball and finds space beautifully.
I'm not overly concerned, it was a bit of a mish mash of a team last night.
Credit to Everton, they played very well.

Indeed
Of course, we're equally contemptuous of all of your players

It was reported that Rooney picked up a nasty gash today.
Coleen refused to comment.
